Kingdom Hearts: Dark Uprising (RP)

(Here's the thread for the actual roleplay! Signups are here, we could probably accept a few more people: http://kh13.com/forum/topic/60620-kingdom-hearts-dark-uprising-signups/ )

Allitt entered the academy's meeting room, following her teacher's instructions. She'd been told to convene here with a group of fellow students for an important mission. "What kind of important mission would they be assigning to someone like me, who isn't even a proper Keyblade Master yet...?" Allitt asked herself aloud as she leaned against a nearby wall. Her teacher wasn't there, so she had time to relax before things started. She summoned her Keyblade, and stared at it for a moment. Not like she had anything else to do while she waited.

(By the way, all the heroes got the same instructions as Allitt, if they're from the academy anyway.)

Rook followed after Ghost's path across the wall, small wisps of light trailing behind him. He landed beside Ghost, spinning his blade around, slicing a Heartless three times in a second."Any sign of our intended rescue-y?" He asked, his Keyblade almost blurring as he attacked more Heartless.Kasai slowly began to advance, using her slow, powerful blows to force the Heartless back.

Another shriek came from inside a room at the end of the hall at Beast's Castle. "There's the answer to your question, Rook." Allitt answered. They'd taken out the last few Heartless in the halls. "Let's go!" Allitt ran ahead into the room, and threw the door open. Inside, a woman was huddled in the corner of the room, hiding from a group of Defender and Wizard Heartless. "Don't worry, help has arrived!" Allitt boasted, then began slicing at one of the Wizards.

"I'll get the Defender over here!" Jazz said, running in towards it, she casted Aero as she did so, and then did a stab at the creature's shield, trying to force it up into the air, she then managed to do a downward strike at the body of the creature, then backed away to avoid the shield as it came down.

Tom jumps into the room, slashing as many Heartless as he can. He is surprised that Heartless also invaded this World. He is wondering who let them in. On the roof, Xadros is seen standing on it, smirking evilly as he watches what transpires. Tom then speaks out loud by saying. "Man, who let these annoying things in?!" Asked Tom, asking how the Heartless got into the castle.

Rook was directly behind Allitt, casting Thunder at a Defender as he looked over the room. Spotting the woman in the corner, he dashed through the Heartless, slicing a few Wizards as he passed, to get to her."Keep your head down, miss." He told her. "The Heartless will be gone soon."He took up a guard position between the Heartless and the woman, using his blade and lightning on anything that got too close.Kasai took a moment to make sure there weren't any more Heartless in the hall before heading into the room herself. She ran right into the room and has hit full with a Defender's shield. She went flying and hit a wall."Kasai!" Rook yelled.Kasai went to her knees, propping herself up on her massive Keyblade. Rook started to move towards her, but she held out a hand."I got this." She wheezed. The Defender moved in for another attack, but Kasai was up like a shot, her Keyblade clashing against the Heartless's shield. Dark vapor steamed off Kasai as she shoved the Defender back and lunged at it, her great blade over her head.

Allitt cast another Blizzard spell on a Defender, careful to not hit its shield. She ducked out of the way of a Thundara spell from a Wizard, then countered with a strike from her Keyblade. The woman in the corner nodded, letting Rook know that she had heard him.

Ghost was too busy racking up his share of heartless to answer Rook as the group of students made quick work of the heartless swarm. As the last heartless was taken care of by the eager students, another shriek was heard nearby. He followed the students, taking a quick look at them and concluding that they were all fine as everyone busted into the room in question. With the students making quick work of the heartless problem, Ghost decided to get somewhat involved as he threw his keyblade at defender, but before the weapon could hit its mark the students had already finished the job. Recovering his keyblade, he quickly positioned himself between the remaining heartless and the woman, summoning a barrier shield and enveloping both him and the woman and isolating them from the threat.Ghost was hoping that the students would take care of the rest...

Rook got back in position between the Heartless and the Woman, but still looked over at Kasai's fight with concern on his face. If she lost...

A wizard coming at him snapped Rook back into his defender role. His Keyblade formed an arcing pattern as he used it to deflect the Wizard's spells. When the wizard got too close, the spinning Keyblade swung out and Rook develered three diagonal slashes to the Heartless in nearly the blink of an eye.

The Wizard faded and Rook looked back to see that Ghost had gotten to the woman and formed a shield around her. He nodded to Ghost, thankful of the help and stuck out a little further from the shield to attack another Wizard.

Kasai's heavy Keyblade stuck the Defender's shield, driving the large Heartless down. She hefted the blade again, this time in one hand, and knocked the shield aside. Her free hand came up with flames in it. She struck the Defender's face with her fist and let lose with a fire spell. The Defender realed briefly then fell back, fading.

"They're strong. With a little more practice, they'll be great masters," Jin whispered as he made his way to the arena. He faced the three. "Don't be fooled by my appearance or your strength in numbers. You all have a ways to go before beating me easily," Jin shouted to his opponents. With that, he took the Buster Sword from his back and stabbed it in the ground. "I'm ready," Jin said as he took the cloth off of him and got into a fighting stance.

Indy got his Keyblade ready. "Three on one might put this match on our favor... But this guy seemed really though. Jack, Joel. Don't let your guard down!" He warned the two.

"Now then, if we're all ready... Let the battle begin!" Phill shouted, starting the match.

Indy shot a Fire spell at his enemy, then ran towards him to get in some physical damage.

(Haha thanks for being considerate Black Star!)

Jin noticed the incoming fire spell and quickly dodged it as Indy came in for a physical attack. "Though your plan was foolproof to hit my blindside, your combat is sloppy," Jin said as he quickly grabbed Indy's arm and tripped him over. Jin then looked at that same hand he had grabbed Indy with. He felt some mass of power flow through his hand. "Hey. Stop holding back dark one," Jin warned Indy in a way only he could hear.

Jin then turned to the other two. "Students from the Academy, you won't get anywhere if you just stand around and do nothing," Jin said as he started to walk towards them. His 1rst class uniform shone in the light above.

Jack rushed in for an attack. As he drew closer to Dragon, he casts Reflects on all sides. "Try dodging this," he shouted, coming in for a sideways slash.

As Jack did this, Joel rushed toward Indy and took a battle stance. Since Dragon had Reflects all around him and Jack in front of him, the only possible way he could avoid the attack would be to jump. And if he does that, I'll be ready, Joel thought.

"Reflects huh? Pretty sturdy. Not compared to Master Yen Sid though," Jin said as he lit up a blue aura. "Overdrive: Attack," Jin said as he swiftly punched Jack in the stomach to blow him back a few steps, interrupting his slash, and punched through the reflect barriers shattering them like glass. Jin's aura faded as he swung his arm around. "Your technique is amazing. It actually took some effort to break it down," Jin complimented the keyblade wielder. Jin got back into a fighting stance. "You can't beat me in close combat or speed," Jin gave his teammates, who knew nothing about him, advice.

Indy jerked his arm out of Jin's grip. "Shut up!" He shouted, glaring at the SOLDIER operative. "If close combat won't work, I'll try something long ranged!" He used Strike Raid on Jin, aiming for his feet to trip him.

"Jazz?" Belle gasped, surprised that her daughter was on the task force to the castle. "I'm fine, but how are you? You were already sent off on a mission out here?" She asked, curious about how Jazz's training had been.

"Feisty aren't we?" Jin said as the keyblade hit his legs. As he was falling, he rolled out, and jumped back up. "Seems like my clothes are a little dirty," Jin said sighing as he dusted himself off. "That all you got?" Jin asked trying to provoke the darkness within Indy.

As Dragon/Jin rolled after being hit by Indy's Strike Raid, the two had an idea.

While their adversary was occupied with taunting Indy, Jack and Joel each got to one side of him. Then they both hurled their Keyblades at Jin. "Dual Raid!"

If you guys need a reference for fights between RPers, here's a tip: describe the attack, but end the statement so it's vague enough that the person receiving the attack can either let it hit or can be blocked/dodged/countered or interpreted any way as needed. Don't go all "Final Trinity, my dood's attack connected and ur dead lololololol". Keep it interesting xD An example: http://kh13.com/forum/topic/56637-kingdom-hearts-vanguard-rp/page-14 Post 268 onwards... It's a long read, but the information you can get from doing this will be... helpful.

With the heartless gone, Ghost relaxed his grip on his weapon and the barrier shield disappeared as Belle reunited with Jazz. The other students were doing thier own thing, and he decided to take the moment of down time to meet back up with Rei. He formed up beside her and gave her a hug, thankful that she wasn't hurt during this encounter. He looked back to Princess Belle. "Excuse me, princess Belle. Out of curiosity, have you seen a group of four people wearing something similar to this?" He pointed at his own armor, hoping that she would find it familiar. The Commandos should be protecting her, but strangely enough none of them were seen around during the whole fight.

As Dragon/Jin rolled after being hit by Indy's Strike Raid, the two had an idea.

While their adversary was occupied with taunting Indy, Jack and Joel each got to one side of him. Then they both hurled their Keyblades at Jin. "Dual Raid!"

As Jin saw the two Keyblades coming towards him, he realized that he couldn't dodge this one. Jin outstretched his hand. At the moment the Keyblades made contact, Jin's Buster Sword appeared in his hand, like a keyblade wielder calling for his keyblade, and he knocked both keyblades into the sky with one horizontal slice. "Didn't think I'd have to use this. Guess I've become a little overconfident," Jin said as he swung the giant sword on his shoulder.

Crap. As their Keyblades began their descent, Joel leaped into the air and caught both Keyblades before they hit the ground. That moment would have been an opportune time to unleash some cool dual-wielding action, but Joel couldn't dual-wield, so he just threw Jack's Keyblade back to him. The other boy gave a grunt of thanks.

"Well, aren't you happy that this isn't some time-wasting battle against a trivial enemy? Now imagine what you'd be doing if I didn't sign you up," Joel said to Jack.

"Very funny. In fact, it's so funny that I forgot to laugh," Jack sarcastically retorted. Joel was right, but Jack was getting a bit annoyed. This guy had managed to counter almost all of their attacks. He looked to Joel and Indy. "Uh, you guys have any more bright ideas?"

Kasai stuck her large Keyblade into the floor, then winced. She'd have to apologize about that later. Sucking in a deep breath, she leaned against her blade, feeling tired.

Rook moved out of the way of Jazz as she ran to her mom. He watched them for a moment, then turned and walked towards Kasai.

"You okay?" He asked, concern apparent in his face and voice.

Kasai waved a dismissive hand.

"Been hit harder than that playing soccer with my brother." She said. "He was such a lousy shot, he'd accidentally hit me in the face."

Rook looked surprised for a moment, but it passed quickly.

"Looks like you all are out of ideas. Maybe I should start on the attack," Jin threatened. With that, he took off in an instant as he disappeared and reappearing between Jack and Joel tripping up the both of them and stuck his Buster Sword in the ground between the two giving them a chance to get up and retaliate. Jin jumped back a few steps from the sword and the two boys and glanced at Indy a little.

"Oh... Sorry that we didn't get it, that's probably when it happened. Well, I'm safe, and your father... He's in the ball room, fighting the Heartless there. He told me to hide upstairs, but they've gotten to me already... I hate to put you in danger, but would you and your friends be able to go help him out?" Belle asked Jazz, pleading for the students to help her husband.

"I wouldn't have any problems helping, if the rest of you are fine with it!" Allitt offered her assistance to the princess.

Joel noticed Indy's Fire Raid before Jin did, and thus reacted earlier. Joel leaped toward Jin and grabbed his arm. Jack followed suit and grabbed his other arm. Jin now had no free arms, so he would be unable to get his sword or cast anything -- unless he broke free. Joel wasn't sure if Jin could just wrestle out of their grip, but they only had to restrain him long enough for Indy's attack to hit. "Don't even think about moving," Joel said to their opponent, "or else... Let's just say you'll be in for a shock."

"Of course I would, and if any if them don't want to, t won't matter, I'll go alone." Jazz said, then hearing Allitt said she would help. "Thanks." She said as she waited for the rest to respond.

"Thunder huh?" Jin said as he sighed. The flaming keyblade edged closer towards him as Joel held onto him tightly. "These kids really want me to take it seriously on them," Jin said as his aura started to change. It was almost compared to darkness, but it was definitely a malicious intent. Jin allowed himself to be hit with the flaming keyblade and was knocked back a bit. However, he shook Joel off and called his Buster Sword. "Fire Blade," Jin said as the sword began to be engulfed in a flaming tornado. Jin raised it upwards as the flames grew bigger. "This is advanced magic. The ability to change the properties of magic so that it just doesn't become a ball that you shoot. However, it's not as strong as it would be in its Fiagra or Fira state," Jin said as the flames spread around him.

"You all are finished," Jin pronounced. "Are you sure? I think I'll have to interrupt you match," Xio said as he flew down in between Jin and the rest of the group. "Sorry if I may interrupt, but this match is over. Any objections and you're sure to face the consequences," Xio calmly threatened as he stuck this red rapier in the ground.

Jack jumped back when Jin grabbed his sword to avoid being cut in half. Joel fell to the ground as Xio appeared out of nowhere. Joel quickly got up, and the two [Joel and Jack] moved back so that they were once again next to Indy.

"Who are you?" Jack shouted. "You seem... familiar..."

"What makes you think you can just stop this match? It's not like you're an official or anything," Joel said. What the heck is this guy doing here? We'd better do something, and quickly, otherwise more people will end up getting hurt.

"Heh... What do you think you're doing, stopping our match? We can take you down too if we need too, you're way outnumbered." Indy threatened Xio, ready to battle him. I need to keep up appearances still... I'm not afraid to take down an ally. He thought to himself, smirking. "What are you doing here, anyway?" He asked.
