Kingdom Hearts: Dark Uprising (RP)

(Here's the thread for the actual roleplay! Signups are here, we could probably accept a few more people: http://kh13.com/forum/topic/60620-kingdom-hearts-dark-uprising-signups/ )

Allitt entered the academy's meeting room, following her teacher's instructions. She'd been told to convene here with a group of fellow students for an important mission. "What kind of important mission would they be assigning to someone like me, who isn't even a proper Keyblade Master yet...?" Allitt asked herself aloud as she leaned against a nearby wall. Her teacher wasn't there, so she had time to relax before things started. She summoned her Keyblade, and stared at it for a moment. Not like she had anything else to do while she waited.

(By the way, all the heroes got the same instructions as Allitt, if they're from the academy anyway.)

Jazz's father led Allitt, Jazz, and Kasai (Also Tom if he'd like, he doesn't seem to be responding...) to Belle's room, where they met up with Belle, Ghost, and Rook. "Belle!" Jazz's father and Belle hugged for a moment, glad to know they were both safe. "You're safe..."

"It was thanks to Jazz and her friends... Our daughter's grown to be an exceptional Keyblade wielder, and the same goes for the other academy students!" Belle told her husband.

"Uh... Hate to break this up, but... This can't be the end of the Heartless infestation here, right?" Allitt interjected, reminding the others of the danger. "We'll have to track down the source and stop that."

(He posted earlier...)"We gotta keep our heads up. More essentially, we should go to the passageways. The stronger the heartless are that we find, the closer we likely art to the boss of them." Jazz looked around. "The paths are dangerous sometimes, without a guide, though."

(I meant he hasn't posted anything since then.)

"Alright... And we know just the guide to get us through!" Allitt gave Jazz a look that was obviously saying that Jazz would be the guide. "You claim you can do anything I can do, and do better, after all!" She teased.

"Unless you can split into two, then we have a problem. We need to sent many groups, the castle is giant..." Jazz sighed.

Ghost, Rei, Belle and now Firestorm Team gathered in the ballroom with the others. "Are you the one called Ghost?" one of the squad members asked. "Affirmative." was Ghost's reply. "Hey, thanks to everyone who got rid of the heartless here." the leader shouted. "We were being overruned, and it looks like they were distracting us so some of them could slip by." The squad looked around to the students gathered there. "If you're gonna do the sweep and stop them at the source, we'll stay here and guard the princess. We were fine doing that, until we decided to push out and fight back."

"Looks like I'll stay here as well." Ghost piped up. He casted a cure spell, healing everyone in the immediate area. "If anyone gets hurt, come back here and I'll take care of ya."

Rook moved aside as Jazz and Allitt brought Beast into Belle's room. Kasai tiredly stopped in front of him and gave him a tired smile.

"We saved the prince." She said. "It felt nice and anti-stereotypical."

Rook gave her a worried look.

"You okay?" He asked quietly.

Kasai nodded.

"Yeah, just getting tired. Come on, let's get inside."

Rook watched Kasai go inside Belle's room. He wasn't sure what Master Mako's plan with her was, but he hopped he would find out soon.

Inside Belle's room, Kasai dismissed her Keyblade and sat down on the floor.

"Is there anyplace you haven't been able to get to?" Rook asked Beast and Belle as he came in the room. "The infestation should be there."

Kasai rubbed her eyes.

"We could pair up to go looking." She offered. "There is six of us, aren't there?"

"Is that... Jafar?!" Joel cried out in astonishment.

The genie took two vendor stalls and threw them at the trio. Jack punched the ground, creating a large barrier to protect them. He managed to deflect one stall, but two was a bit much. The second one shattered the Reflect barrier, and the force of that sent Jack flying back into the palace wall.

"Crap...." If Joel had had a bit more time to rest, he would have been able to tap in to the darkness and possibly even the playing field. Unfortunately, it seemed that one battle started as soon as the previous one ended. Joel removed his new Keychain, and Black Lightning was back in his hand. He ran up to Lucas and whispered, "You think that you can get him while I create a distraction?" He then turned to the genie and shouted, "If you wanna kill me, you're going to have to catch me!" as he ran back into the city streets.

Jafar noticed Joel trying to distract him. "Are you challenging me?" The genie was too cocky for his own good, and tried to only target Joel. He tossed anything he could find; stalls, bits of the wall, everything he could get his hands on.

"Unless you can split into two, then we have a problem. We need to sent many groups, the castle is giant..." Jazz sighed.

"Oh..." Allitt tried to come up with a solution. "There would always be the option of your parents, but they need to rest... Who else would be able to guide us?"

"Excuse me madam, but I believe that your answer would be moi!" A voice spoke from somewhere in the room, but seemingly not coming from a person.

Allitt jumped in surprise. "Who was that?" She looked around, and the voice laughed.

"Oh, forgive moi! I had forgotten!" A man walked to the group from outside the room. "Please, call me by my old name, Lumiere. My friend Cogsworth might also be of assistance!" Lumiere was dragging another man into the room.

"No, it's much too dangerous! We can't help them!" He tried to wrestle his way from Lumiere's grip, but gave up when Jazz's parents looked at him expectantly. "Oh, fine..." He stood up and bowed to the group. "Cogsworth, at your service."

"Heh... Looks like we've gout our guides, then!" Allitt grinned.

"Pairing up sounds like a good idea, for those of us planning to go and look around... There's you, me, Rook, Jazz, Ghost, and Tom... Ghost is staying behind, so that means one group of three, one group of two, right? Unless someone else decides to stay behind... Who's going with who, then?" She looked around at the group questioningly. "We should go with whoever we work best with, of course."

Jafar noticed Joel trying to distract him. "Are you challenging me?" The genie was too cocky for his own good, and tried to only target Joel. He tossed anything he could find; stalls, bits of the wall, everything he could get his hands on.

Jafar may have been an all-powerful genie, but Joel had speed on his side. Plus, his Keyblade granted him even more agility. Joel could easily dodge whatever Jafar threw at him -- literally. If he couldn't outrun the projectiles, he would just jump to the side or Dodge Roll out of the way. He had to use Thunder on a couple of large vases.

Pretty soon, they reached the city limits. It seemed like a sandstorm was brewing outside, and Joel did not want to have to deal with that. He suddenly jumped up, ricocheted off of the wall, and aimed a kick right at Jafar's face.

The genie was surprisingly, and thankfully, solid. He was knocked back a bit, mostly due to the surprise of being hit with a kick. "You disgusting vermin!" He reached out to grab Joel. Meanwhile, Indy had followed the two there. Wonder what's going on here... Why's a genie attacking three Keyblade wielders? He began to try to figure out the answer, while trying to avoid being seen by either one of them.

"Good point... In that case, how about we team up? I need to prove to you that I'm stronger, anyway." Allitt suggested, while also boasting about her strength.

Joel quickly retreated to avoid Jafar's wrath. He rolled beneath the towering figure and made a dash for the alley. "Geez, where are Lucas and Jack? I could use a bit of help!"

Meanwhile, Jack, still at the palace gates, finally came to. "Ouch.... My head.... Huh?" Jack looked around, seeing that everyone had gone. "Leaving me behind. Thanks a lot, guys," he said to himself. He then heard a ruckus elsewhere in the city. He ran toward where he hoped the others were.

Jafar tore a chunk of the city walls off, and threw it at Joel. He also noticed Jack running towards them, and threw another piece of the wall at him. "Trying to distract me, are you?" He asked, and laughed wickedly.

Indy continued watching. I could easily take this guy out and save them... But then they'd just target me. For all I know, the boss could've been the one to summon this guy, too... Of course, I won't let him steal my chance for revenge... Indy shot a Fire spell at Jafar, hoping to distract him. He rolled behind a pillar to avoid being noticed, and the fireball hit Jafar in the back of the head.

"What was that?" Jafar looked around, confused by the sudden fireball.

(I cant get on one day and you guys have so many comments. -__- The one time i cant get on here and you guys have a firaga Burst of comments. xD)

"HEY RED HEAD, LOOK OVER HERE YOU UGLY LOWLIFE!" Lucas yelled at jafar, throwing his keyblade imbued with Thunder at him, knocking him down to the ground. Lucas saw a fireball hit Jafar and noticed someone rolling behind the pillar. Oh great, what now? I hope whoever this is, is one of the academy students. But for now, i gotta help Joel. Lucas fired a ton of thunder bolts in a row to distract jafar.

(Heh, sorry : P)

Joel saw Lucas firing off Thunders at Jafar. He ran toward his friend. At the same time, Jack spotted the two and caught up to them. "Looks like the gang's all here."

"Now, how are we going to deal with this guy?" Joel asked. "Does he have any weak points?"

"I don't see any weak points, maybe we should just all rush and attack him at once? I guess that could work." Lucas suggested.

Jack shrugged. "Eh, it's worth a shot."

Joel devised a quick plan of action. "I guess I'll go right, Jack can go left, and Lucas will strike from the front. How does that sound?"

As Lucas attacked Jafar from the front, Jack used a Reflect to propel himself toward Jafar. He then wrapped his Keyblade in wind and struck their foe with a double spin attack, followed by a quick downward slash. Meanwhile, Joel jumped to the other side, imbued his Keyblade with lightning, and hit Jafar with a quick yet devastating flurry of attacks (thanks to Sonic Arts). He finished up with a Strike Raid. The combined power of their attacks sent Jafar reeling.

"AND HERE'S ONE FOR THE ROAD!!" Lucas ran as fast as he could to Jafar and did a side slash strike through him, and followed up with an Ars Arcanum flurry of blows and finish with jumping into the air and slaming his keyblade into the ground, slashing Jafar as he descended, creating a huge shockwave. "Its over." Jafar collapsed to the ground.

Jafar collapsed to the ground. "Defeated... again?" He asked. Suddenly, he went back to his mist form, and the mist seemed to go towards an unknown location far off in the desert.

Indy sighed. Looks like no one saw me... They probably would've mentioned me by now. They took Jafar out, too... He rested against the pillar for a moment.

(Oh I see. Didn't see the 'an'. Sorry for the misunderstanding. Also, I had Sonic Arts in my original character app, so I figured it would be okay to use it.)

"Well, before he fought us, Jafar had some important-looking girl. I'm gonna assume that that was Jasmine." Joel said. He then turned to look toward the outskirts of the city, where the sandstorm was still raging. "Doesn't look like we'll be able to follow that mist, so I think we should go back to the palace and look for any clues that might give us some insight of the situation of this world."

"I have a working knowledge of the castle's lay out." Rook volunteered. "I can sweep through the main areas of the castle."

He glanced over at Ghost.

"Can your friends help?"

Kasai yawned and got up from her sitting position on the floor.

"I guess me and Rook are the other team." She said.

Oddly enough, Kasai had a feeling Rook preferred that for some reason. And she did too, now that she thought about it.

Indy continued to spy on Jack, Joel, and Lucas. It looks like they're busy trying to find out what's going on with Jasmine... Am I safe, then? He thought to himself. Now that I think about it, I don't really know what's going on with her, either... It seems like something's up. I need to investigate this JENOVA thing, too... He sighed. "If they don't try to kill me, I guess it would be worth a shot..." He muttered, and walked out from behind the pillar towards the group. "Well, didn't think I'd meet you all here... Jack. Joel. Lucas." He turned his view to each one as he said their names. "Don't worry, I'm not here to kill you all... yet, anyway. I've got a more peaceful proposition, actually." He explained, hoping they wouldn't attack him anyway. He didn't think he could take another battle with them.

Allitt looked at Jazz. "So, if we're all set with the groups, let's go!" She told her partner and guide. "You lead the way!"
