It REALLY bugs me that they're using cartoony water, as seen in the teaser, instead of ACTUAL water. The PS3 would be able to handle that garbage. I wanted them to actually use the water from the CGI cutscenes...It makes absolutely no sense for them to use real water in CGI, then make it look fake in-game, when the PS4 could EASILY handle what's shown in CGI. Destiny Islands would look so much more beautiful with real water...What gives?

I know it's not final, but I doubt it's going to change because they chose to use that. Thoughts? :/

The game is going to be outstanding regardless, but wow this irks me. >.>

Each world will have a different shader. Destiny Islands has a"cartoony" shader, making everything look... well, cartoonish. Other worlds will also have different shaders, so the water will look different every other world. So, lets say (example) a Pirates of the Caribbean world would have dark, murky, realistic looking water.

Yeah I kinda figured that, but they should have stuck to what they made in CGI, since that's what it's truly supposed to look like. Why make it look realistic there? Maybe they're saving it for the final cutscenes like in past games so there's another big leap in graphics, I don't know. I just wish they could have made it look more like the CGI scenes by doing so. It'd be a much cooler experience.

Beta trailer, there were no toners in said scene so the detail isnt at its max.

I hope so much that you're right. D:

I didn't look at the water but I'm sure it'll be okay!

Its a game where fight monsters with donald duck and goofy, I don't think their gonna go for the realistic look

You could make your own KH3 game and use the water that you want.

I think it looks fine.

They made it look realistic in the KH 2 ending's CGI, so they should have kept it that way. It actually makes no sense at all to not stick to what they originally portrayed the island to look like in CGI...

I hope the game doesn't look too different from the other KH games. I always liked the cartoony look of the series.

But it wouldn't be different, in every single KH CGI, Destiny Island's water was actual water.
