The Mysterious Figure And Birth By Sleep In General...

Posted

Hey there everyone, how's it going?  As we all know, Birth By Sleep is the game in the Kingdom Hearts series that is the most similar to Star Wars, and this game was released back in 2010, and Disney hadn't bought the company that owned those films at that time, which can only mean that Disney portrayed it's claim to the purchase of the company by doing a lot of similarities in Birth By Sleep.  Like Terra succumbing to the darkness being the equivalent of Anakin turning to the dark side, and the fall of the Keyblade wielders the equivalent of the fall of the Jedi Order.  And another thing, I mean seriously, when I fought the Mysterious Figure for the first time I was like: "Okay, so I'm fighting a freaking Lightsaber wielder, awesome! XD"  I just laughed to myself at that, but hey, a few years later and Disney bought Lucasfilm company.  I'd say that was a wicked prediction. What do you people think? :3

I don't think they were trying to be deliberately like Star Wars to portray a claim or anything.  Nomura himself is a fan of the series and probably used a lot of the plot elements in his work either subconsciously or knowingly.

Oh, I see.  Interesting. :O

"As we all know"? Well, you bring up some good points, but I doubt Disney would hint their eventual purchase that early or even in Kingdom Hearts.

Yeah, and Sora stole Riku's role as Luke.
