while many of them are like that, i wouldn't say most. I have seen them but they are so much less common these days. There are more people these days that like to say that its so overrated because of that fanbase. But the people who love to say that its overrated and put VI first are actually making it the other way around. Ill have to agree with squall. Its not much different than any other fanboys of a game at this point.

I'll openly admit that Final Fantasy is the worst fanbase I'm a part of (Before anyone suggests Sonic, I hate most Sonic games, so I'm not part of that one). I know that most members of it are raging fanboys. I find FFVII's the be the most frustrating and stubborn, though.
