August 7, 201312 yr did this ff7 is overrated mentality come when ff9 came out? i like 9 but just saiyan I don't know when it started, I'm new to the fanbase. I'd definitely say that 7 is overrated. Heck, I'd say 8's overrated too. Seriously, so many FF fans say VII's the best, and most of them have only played the PSX era of games.

Most people hate that I've played all of them up to X, I tried XII, and decided nothing past X is really worth trying. XIII-2 and XV look promising, though. Also, you wouldn't believe how many people seem to go nostalgia-mode for VIII...

August 8, 201312 yr I only played 3 main series games, and one of them I played halfway then it froze. It's X, XIII and VII.
