Okay, so everyone knows that Final Fantasy X is coming out with a HD Remaster. However, in the trailer the first words spoken are about one of the biggest plot elements for the story! I don't want to spoil for anyone who hasn't played it, but since the trailer already ruined it, Yuna is supposed to die at the end of her pilgrimage. So why do they say it in the trailer!? It just makes me mad for people who haven't played the game, because this could be a great chance to jump in! It's like if they said Sora, Riku, and Kairi get separated at the end of Kingdom Hearts 1 in the trailer! What did you guys think? Do you like when a major plot point is told in a remake trailer, this can include movies as well.

the point of a remaster is to bring new gamers on it. so yeah, no good idea telling the ending of FFX ... good nothing of it happen on KH HD

yeah i was confused as to why they did that

Well, yeah but new players won't know that. 90% of all people who watched that trailer, new or old gamers, probably ignored that as another random trailer quote. Cause let's face it, when you watch a game trailer you're not that focused on words compared to the actions being shown infront of it. And odds are when they play the game and see that come up, they'll probably be surprised even though they've heard it before but just didn't notice. Beside they wouldn't know what it meant to the story anyway. For all they know, Tidus could've known this from the beginning, tried to deal with it and then snapped when it was time for it to happen. But WE know otherwise...

Probably to get people hyped about what actually happened since she didn't seem to die when they see she's in X-2.They'll want to know just what the hell happened and why Tidus isn't there.

quotes and phrases from trailers need context to make sense. You see them as a spoiler because you DO know the ending, and the plot, but the new gamers don't. They're just hearing "ooh death" and don't think any more of it. I'll bet that if you go back and watch the trailer of a movie after having watched it, you'll find that a lot of what was in the trailer was a spoiler, you just didn't realize that it was until you had context.

I think companies really dont care what they spoil despite saying they want newcomers to play the game, hence so many spoilers in the trailers.
