Ansem in re:com has a different voice actor than in kh1

Featured Replies

Sorry to burst your bubble but that is extremely old news. Billy Zane the original voice of Ansem only voiced him for KH1 and the original CoM. For unknown reasons he didn't reprise the role in KH2. Ever since then we've had Richard Epcar doing all the voice work for Ansem.

Lol, never noticed

Never really put more thought to it, because both made an excellent work. But it does make sense, considering Re:CoM came after KH2, and in this latter game we already had a change of voice actors

I miss the original Ansem voice, for nostalgia sake but both of them sound brilliant as Ansem though.

It was confirmed he left to go on a journey to search for darkness.
