Nothing Beats The Classics. :)

Hey there everyone, how's it going? You know, last night I watched the movie The Hunchback of Notre Dame, and as I watched it, I felt such a sense of nostalgia and I couldn't help but smile. In a world that is so twisted nowadays, I'm proud to say that I can be able to put my mind at ease when I see Disney's old films. Don't get me wrong, some of Disney's modern films like Tangled and Wreck-It-Ralph are excellent and I love them to bits, but there's just something about the old Disney movies that I just can't seem to put my finger on.

Maybe it's the unforgettable characters. Maybe it's the charming and whimsical songs. I think on these things and agree with myself, but in the end, the main reason I love the old Disney films are the powerful messages they portray. From discovering yourself like Simba did in the Lion King, and showing that true love sees through all things like in Beauty and the Beast, to learning to accept yourself for who you are and not be anyone else such as in Aladdin, these films have become a part of us that we've nurtured since our childhood. They're a part of us that will always remain in our hearts.

As life goes on, we can't help but think back fondly on these films, and Kingdom Hearts is all the more beloved to us because of this. So many familiar faces appear in the Kingdom Hearts series that one can't help but remember the films behind the various worlds. On this day I say that I'll always love Disney films, and even though their styles have changed, they always have that special quality to them. And you know, they still have some of that old Disney magic left, I mean look at the Princess and the Frog. That movie is from 2009, but if you hadn't seen it before, you would have thought it was an old gem from the Disney vault. So tell me everyone, what are your most cherished Old Disney movies? :)

goofy movie, lion king, lion king 1/2, alice in wonderland, Pinocchio(that movie was firetrucking scary but i love it), i could go on for hours. Disney defines my childhood

I watched Pocahontas for the first time in years the other day and just listening to the music on the menu screen made me all nostalgic and tingly with Disney magic! I completely agree with you, nothing beats the old classics!

I listen to different Disney soundtrack CD's while going to bed! From Cinderella,Tarzan, Lion King, Pocohontas, Beauty and the Beast, Hunchback of Notre Dame, and lots of others

This was nicely put, and I agree with you, Disney was basically my childhood haha. And it's funny I just watched The Hunchback of Notre Dame a few nights ago too (although I was more focused on the jokes I would have missed as a child than the actual story). Some of the movies I watched most as a kid were The Little Mermaid, Snow White, and Sleeping Beauty. I just saw the full Beauty and the Beast movie when it came to theaters a few years ago and the Hunchback for the first time last week. The older cartoon Disney movies are my favorite, and to me are much more memorable than the Pixar ones (for some reason I don't really think of Disney when I think of Pixar, with the exception being Toy Story 2). I have yet to see The Princess and the Frog, but I'm sure that will be great too.

Alice in Wonderland forever. <3

Also, Classic Disney stories just stay with you forever as a whole xD

CINDERELLA AND ARIEL, MY CHILDHOOD LOVES!!!!
