Well idk much about the new consoles and the wi-fi crap and whatever -.-' but all I know is like, up to 6 people can play at once, and I do belive I saw a vid on youtube about different people playing in the Mirage Arena, does this help?:

what is Ad-Hoc

ad hoc is like im sitting next to u and we play side by side or in the same room, ad hoc party is on the ps3 and lets you use your psp on the ps3 to play with a group of people who join your party. Ive also heard that there will be wifi mode. not completely confirmed.

It doesn't have wifi. I have the japanese version. Beast by the way! Already beat terras, and almost done aquas and in the beggining of vens. Man xanehort was hard lol. But nope it doesn't have wifi. Sucks.
