Nintendo has walked away with a few awards from this year’s Gamescom event in Cologne, Germany. Mario Kart 8 was voted the best game on the Wii U and the best overall family game at the show. The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds was awarded the accolade of best mobile game at the event. Bungie’s Destiny was nominated as the best game of the show and Titan Fall for Xbox and PC was voted best next-gen game.

Nintendo didn't seem too have too much going on at Gamescom... Probably why I didn't even pay attention to the event at all. :/ Still, glad to see they got some awards!

Yeah they didn't really have that much to show. But still, it was a good event.

Eh, I honestly was disappointed. Of course, I was only looking for info on either new Nintendo titles, Smash Bros 4, or KHIII... And I didn't really get any of those. I'm literally only getting a PS4 for KHIII and FFXV (I know, sounds dumb, but I had no intention to get one before KHIII, and I've been with KH too long to skip out on the last title of the first saga), and I'm not getting an Xbox One... So yeah, it wasn't very exciting for me. :/
