Well I made this thread since I want to disscus VR.Sorry if it already has a thread for this but I'm really sleepy at the time of making this.Anyway,what do you think or VR?Do you want it or do you not?What do you think of the possiblty of it happening and if so when?

As of right now,I'm really bored with real life,nothing exciting ever happens and so I began fantasing what VR would like be,i do think it is possible and might happen within the next 20 years.Might not be fully developed but its gonna be there imo.On a sidenote I've just finshed watching sword art online and procedding to watch Accel world and was wondering if you knew were gonna get locked in the game and your like would be on the line like SAO's first arc,would you have still gone?I probably would've cause my live is on the line in the real world too so its no different.Hoping for some replies to my questions.

A virtual reality would be awesome, but risky. I'd love it personally but the idea of shifitng your consciousness into a machine is kind of scary.

I would love an SAO-Style adventure, I'd probably die, but I would love it all the same.

 

Anyway, my feeling on VR is that I want it to happen, not just for gaming, but think about it: People who don't have legs or moving appendages can at least experience walking in a VR environment, so long as it was brainwave controlled, of course. And then learning would be more fun(We all know that if learning and VR mixed, no one would hate school anymore, since in VR, you can create any kind of visual or anything you want for class), and it would actually be good for medical purpose, if again, it were brain-wave controlled, like a Nerve Gear, since Surgery's would require less numbing(Since any signals sent to your brain or from it from the outside world are blocked) and keep a person's heart rate calm and steady, as well as keeping the patient peaceful.

I would be a fighter, and I would force myself to be able to Dual Wield.

I wish I could dual wield, but they made it sound like a special skill. ;_; The two classes I like the most are mages, or dual wielders... Neither one of those is available to the ordinary SAO player. I guess I'd just use a style similar to Asuna, and be a speed-based fighter.

Well, basically, I would have someone in super strong gear follow me around and be a sword holster for me. There is no skill in ALO for it, so I would assume...

PACK MULES WOOOOO I'm sure you could put one or two swords in your inventory, too. That could work also, though.

Well, the point is that a player can only have one equipped at a time, but if Im borrowing someone else's equipped weapon, it bypasses the rule.

Ooh, using a loophole. Gotta love abusing those. I'd probably still go with speed-based combat like Asuna, since I can level up that skill. That and speedy combat's really fun.
