Attention All Fire Emblem: Awakening Fans

Nintendo’s immensely well-received Fire Emblem Awakening has apparently shifted over one million units. This is the first time that the franchise has managed this impressive feat. Fire Emblem Awakening actually broke 1 million units sold a while ago, if digital sales are taken into account. Nintendo has previously said that 30% of the initial sales of Fire Emblem Awakening were digital. Clearly this is great news, as Nintendo stated that they may ditch the series if the game didn’t sell over 250,000 units in North America.

I have to say. I am very happy to hear this news. Fire Emblem: Awakening is personally my 3DS "Games of the Year" just because of the awesome replay value different modes, features, and the awesome DLC. This is definitely one of my favorite 3DS games.

    Cool, it's funny because I have no idea why I love Awakening so much. It's not the Story, Music, Graphics, or Gameplay, I just like it... It's weird. Hopefully Nintendo will release a sequel for the Wii U.

    Well this is good to here. But see, look at what Nintendo said that "They may ditch the series if it didnt sell enough units". They'll ditch any series that doesnt make enough money for them, and that happened with Earthbound.

     

    Im glad to see Fire Emblem isn't going to suffer the same fate as Earthbound. BUt i still wish the Mario games suffered the same fate as Earthbound and Earthbound was one of the lead franchises of Nintendo. *sighs* Too bad that'll never happen. :(

    Well sorry if i don't like the Platforming games of the series, but that's just my opinion. Ok maybe its going too far for me to wish that it had ended up like Earthbound, even if it did save the gaming industry, but it still doesn't change the fact that i dislike the New Super Mario Bros games. : Everyone's entitled to their opinions, even those who hate on good games like FF XIII-2 and Pokemon. I don't hate many games, i like most of the games i see, but i just don't like the platforming games of Mario. I'm sorry, but that's how i feel about it, and not really anything will change my opinion about that. :|

    I understand where you're coming from. I'm sorry for saying that to begin with. I just really don't like the New Super Mario Bros games. They're too repetitive and get really boring.

    But the SNES game were good especially Yoshi's Island

    Glad to see those sales for Fire Emblem. It is easily my game of the year and one of the greatest 3DS games out there.

    Here's hoping that the next game in the series is outstanding just like the others. :D
