Somehow, I find this to be extremely saddening... Did anyone else here know about this?

And it's not really depressing. We've (well I've) all experienced things like this growing up on the Internet. Things change. That "new" feeling you had when you were new quickly fades away, as you're an experienced member or whatever forum/game/website you're on, and you turn into an empty shell. You're either a douchebag who thinks they're superior to everyone else, or sort of a "teacher" to newer members. If you had friends, you had fun. If you were alone and eventually a nice person approached you kindly, you made friends.

 

Fu ck, now I'm gonna cry. My memories of Runescape and Clubpenguin and Webkinz and Neopets are all coming back to me..
