Could've Aqua been a princess of the light instead of Kairi because that Aqua gave Kairi some of the light. I'm kind of confused. And 4 all we know, if Aqua didnt give Kairi some of her light, Kairi could've been evil.

Both Aqua and King Mickey talks about how special Kairi is, when they first met.

To more specific: Aqua feels Kairi's light and King Mickey thinks she is special.

Hope it helps =)

Yeah cause I mean like, Aqua is supposed to be a Keyblade master not a princess. Spoiler ahead!!!!!!!

She was going to be second in line for the X-Blade. So she couldn't be pure light. I think?

Actually, Aqua didn't give her any light.

She placed magic in Kairi's necklace to protect her from the darkness. But before that, both her and Mickey sensed a strong light in her, leading to the belief that she is "special".

Kairi was born with a heart of pure light anyways.

No. Aqua is a Keyblade master.

Kairi was born a princess of light, she had no dfarkness in her already. Aqua is a keyblade master, and gave Kairi her right of succesion to a keyblade. Accidentally.

oooo thks everyone whoever posted! :D

Another thing thats interesting (if you've read the BbS Ultimania) is that Kairi can use a keyblade because Aqua accidentaly did a ceremony on Kairi when Kairi touched the Keyblade.
