Chapter 1: Who?

He awoke in the darkness, cold, afraid, alone. Memories of who he was came back to him: he was Sora, the keyblade master.

He touched his neck, feeling the bandage there: Not anymore he wasn't.

What world was he in? The last thing he remembered was Wonderland. Where was Donald and Goofy? What had HAPPENED?

He stood shakily, stretching his hands over his spikey hair, seeing a cold full moon above.

He opened his mouth to take a breath... and noticed how long his teeth were all of a sudden, almost like... FANGS.

He probed his mouth with one finger, his worst fears realized: Fangs, the vampire kind.

He refused to believe this: it wasn't true! It couldn't be! This was a dream, he was sure of it. All he needed to do was go back to sleep, and everything would be fine when he awoke.

Laying down, he curled into a ball, and quickly dozed off.

Obviously, you should have thought of making chapter 2 sooner, like, before I made the comment.

Obviously you should learn to wait intill later tonight when I post chapter two, because I've been unplugged all afternoon. ANNNNNND please don't tell me what to write, if you please: This is NOT, repeat, NOT Halloween Town, although it IS Kingdom Hearts/Corpse Bride related. The answer will surprise you. ( Expect a cameo from Victor Vandort )

Chapter 2: Light Of The Moon

Awakening hours later, Sora stared around at his surroundings in dismay: it HADN'T been a dream.

" HERE YE, HERE YE! VICTOR VANDORT TO MARRY VICTORIA EVERGLOT! MARRIAGE WILL SAVE EVERGLOT'S FROM RUIN! HERE YE, HERE YE! "

Staring in the general direction of the screams, Sora saw a pudgy man in a long coat ringing a bell, yelling the news of someone's marriage at the top of his lungs, wandering along a small street.

Sora saw low fog shrouding the buildings and roads of a small village, nesteled on the outskirts of a dark forest and expansive field.

Knowing that he needed to get a better understanding of what had happened, Sora stood, brushed some dirt and grass off his butt, and walked into town.

~~~~~~~~~~
" Your cup...  your cup shall never wine.. no.. with this hand, I shall cup... oh Heavens no. "
The tall, thin, pale young man appeared to be muttering the vows of an old fashioned marriage ceremony, as Sora passed by him in an alley.
The sign on a meat venders at the corner, closed for the night, told Sora he was in the small London town of Wall. Who had taken him there, and why, remained mysteries.
Stopping to look in the shop's window, Sora spotted freshly preserved skins and raw hunks of steak, placed in the window in preperation for the customers the next day.
Blood oozed from one larger steak, deeply staining the wood of the display counter inside.
Feeling a sudden, animalistic craving, Sora smashed the window, glancing around to make sure none had seen, snatched the steak, and raced off down an alley, sucking the juices from the meat greedily.
With redness staining his shirt, smeared on his chin, and making his fingers sticky, Sora stopped, staring at his fingers in horror, dropping the now dry steak to the dirty pavement.
" My god... what did I just DO?"
not bad...not bad...pretty interesting but too short
Short chapters keep the tension up.
Chapter 3: Trials and Tribulations
Sora washed quickly, hoping no one who lived in the nearby farm house was apying attention to the horse's water trough.
After a mad dash through the streets in an effort to not be seen by anyone else covered in blood like a murder victom, ( Or worse, MURDERER ) Sora had lucked out on finding an old farm just outside the town and past the church, quiet and asleep at this late hour.
He looked at his face in the reflective water: what he saw scared him.
His eyes were a deep purple, lined with dark dis-coloration like bruses, the rest of his face pale. The fangs he kne were there, but they were undetectable from first glance... unless he opened his mouth.
Razor sharp, they jutted forward where his original canine's had been, glinting wickedly in the light of the moon beam's bouncing off the still water.
What ever had happened, Sora knew what he was from horror films and Tales From The Crypt comic books: a vampire.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~

He wandered the fields, staring blankly at the ground, unsure of where to procede from here: Donald and Goofy were gone, he was in a new world noone knew, and he was a vampire.

On top of that, dawn was slowly breaking, and a silly film called Dracula's Son had given him enough facts to know vamps tended to burn in the sun... literally.

He needed shelter, and he needed it fast: The sky was going pink at the edges.

Running faster than he ever had in his life, the pure need for survival kicking in, he raced back to the imposing church, Our Lady Of Perpetual Damnation, according to the carved sign over the door.

The doors were open, as the pastor, a guant man with a crooked nose and bent back, walked a small dog near the cemetery, paying him no attention.

Sora rushed past, entering the stillness of the church. A staircase with dusty handrails led upwards into the gloom, and he ran up them without thinking, just as the pastor returned, the heavy rosewood doors slamming shut with a final, definate bang that shook the rafters.

The stairs led to a disused choir's balcony, far back enough to hide, but still be able to see the sanctuary below.

" Pastor Gladswell! Pastor Gladswell!"

A young woman wrapped in a patchwork quilt ran in, as Sora curled up on a musty pile of choir robes.

Drifting to sleep, Sora heard one sentence, from the young woman, which echoed in his mind as sleep came to take him.

" Victor... he's married a corpse! He has a Corpse Bride! "

Now, thought Sora before he drifted into a dreamless sleep, what on Earth could THAT mean?

Chapter 4: Into The Cold, and The Quiet

Sora awoke during the afternoon service,

the old preacher, Gladswell, preaching hellfire and brimstone from the pulpit. The church was dark, but Sora could see the brilliant sunlight through the dusty stained glass windows.

Where ever this was, everyone seemed human, and the setting was very normal. However, he knew he was in another world by the colors: everything was as washed out as a black and white film print, the people pale.

Tiredness overcame him, and he fell back to sleep quickly, the droning of Gladswell lulling him to sleep.

~~~~~~~~~~
When he awoke again, the church was silent, dark, and empty. Moonlight filtered in from the windows, washing the floor in pale blues and ambers.
Sora stood, stretching, all his sore muscles.
Time for some fun, he decided.
The moon was high in the sky as Sora left the chapel, the cold glare showing everything in perfect detail with harsh white glares of beams.
Sora knew this was HIS time, the night, the dark...
The time of evil.
Chapter 5: Empty
He proweld darkened roads, empty alleys, silent barns: what he searched for, he knew not, only that the thirst drove him. Day by day, Sora watched his skin lighten, the cold moon glow each evening leeching the pigments away.
By day he slept in the church. Gladswell droning on and on below his hidden home.
By night...
by night he proweld, his bloodlust getting steadily worse.
At last, it was no longer avoidable: he needed...
he needed blood.
As much as the idea repulsed him, he knew it was true: he'd accepted it for what it was.
Wherever Donald and Goofy HAD gone, Sora barely remembered them anymore; instincts that were nearly pure animal had taken over, with one exception that couldn't ever be changed.
Sora's Light was too strong for even a vampire curse to outshine.
6 Another Side
As fate would have it, someone ELSE had been striken with the vampire-curse, and hungered to find another of their kind:
Roxel Red, once an ordinary boy in Twilight Town... now a creature of darkness.
Roxel had been tricked by a man named Lea into a Corrider of Darkness, and he'd ended up in the village, alone, scared, vampirized, and with no memory of life before that night at all.
It seemd this man, a red head who claimed to know both Sora and another named Riku, had some sort of.. of SCHEME going on.
Roxel usually tried not to think to hard on it: it did no good.
He was simply THERE: no more or less.
His exsistence was a mystery, but he tried to take it in stride, taking each night as it came, dealing with each strife as it reared it's head.
Without that... despair took over, and he dreamed of ways to end his exsistence.
Sunlight was fatal ,of course, but that was very drastic; he was slowing discovering the typical horror-film trappings of crosses and garlic were all lies, creative... but nonsense.
The endless night deepened around him, as he walked free once more under the dark cloud of night.
