Aaron 579 Posted May 30, 2009 The following contains spoilers for the Japanese version of Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. Please avoid reading if you do not want details of the game spoiled. I have obtained a copy of 358/2 Days and have started playing through it. As you can see the above video is the from the "Mission" sections I completed the first mission with Larxene and also show parts of the mission with Roxas, Axel and Saix. In depth description of the Mission You start off in some sort of store room in Twilight Town, you then must leave and walk towards a glowing circle which will trigger a tutorial. Continuing down the path you will battle the first heartless, a group of 4 shadows. Walk through the door and up the ramp, and you will be greeted by more heartless, this time we are met by 2 yellow Opera and more shadows. Continue along the path battling heartless until you come to another door After entering we are encountered by groups of Red Rhapsody's, you must kill 6 of them to complete your mission You then have 120 seconds to run back to where you started. In depth description of the Characters Please take note that i am only level 1 in this video, i will upload another mission video at a higher level, showing unlock able moves and abilities. Larxene Larxene was my favorite character to play as, she is fast and uses her electrified throwing knives most effectively, almost like claws. She battles enemies at an extremely close range, which makes it very enjoyable to kill heartless. She has a lower base HP than other characters, such as Axel, yet her speed and agility is much higher than others. This suggests that Larxene would be best suited to lots of smaller weak enemies, or slow bosses. Saix (Starts at 5.30 in the video) Saix's strength is one of the highest in the organisation, which is accompanied by a relatively fast speed of attack. His side jumping move is extremely good against multiple heartless, as it enables him to hit many in a short time span. While jumping Saix's attacks become much slower, suggesting that while battling fast enemies, he should try to stay on the ground. Axel (Starts at 6.10 in the video) Axel was my second favorite character to play as, for multiple reasons. His twin chakram's are suburb, and enable him to unleash a series of quick strong blows against his enemies. He is also able to throw one of his chakrams at the heartless, like a boomerang, which makes it easy to kill them at long range. When jumping, Axel make a series of quick circular moves, that enable him to "surround" the heartless with his attacks. Axel's HP, defense strength, etc are all in the middle region, suggesting that he is an all round character to play as. Roxas (Starts at 6.45 in the video) Roxas' fighting style is almost identical to that of Sora in the other Kingdom Hearts games. They both use the same weapons, keyblades, and have very similar jumps and strikes. Yet Roxas' moves come across as more aggressive, as they are slightly faster and more powerful than Sora's I will update soon with another video featuring more characters. Max_G_Ex 0 Posted June 2, 2009 you're not gonna do anything like "who's the best to use against this heartless with this type of weapon" right? that'd be way to much work.
