Have you ever had something that you couldn't make go away? Kinda like a burden....but not really. Like maybe a medical disorder or something. What if was an ability? An "Eye Ability". This is story of a group of kids with these abilities before they leave for summer vacation.

 

The "Eye Abilities":

 

Concealment: (Kurumi Himura)

"Hiding One's Eyes" ability. Can divert perception towards objects and even people within 2 meters of herself/himself and/or her/his surroundings, rendering them invisible. Conversation while being hidden also won't be heard by outsiders. Physical contact, however, breaks the effect, so it isn't useful in very crowded places; as well, if a person outside the 2 meter bubble is familiar with someone being concealed, the power will not be as strong. The ability works more by preventing people from recognizing those being hidden, rather than making them unable to be seen. She has practiced to control her ability perfectly and to not disappear suddenly. If unpracticed, the user could disappear suddenly.

 

Illusion: (Dagon Valefar)

To "Deceive One's Eyes". It can change what people around him see and show them something different, but he/she can only use it on himself/herself, means he/she cannot change appearances of others, etc.

 

Analysis and Animal Communication: (Code "Zed")

"Eye-Stealing" ability, which allows him/her to read information from the target. The user can also speak to animals using his/her eye ability.

 

Paralysis: (Luke)

The "Eye Contact" ability. It allows her/him to temporarily stop the movement of whoever meets the users gaze. It is not as she/her is not able to turn people into stone, but to more "freeze" them for a little while.

 

Captivation: (Yuki Saimin)

Known as "Eye Attention", can draw peoples' attention, regardless of their preferences in tastes or interests.

 

Focusing: (Claude Turner)

"Eye Focusing". It has the power to perceive objects and details that are far away from an aerial view.

 

Awakening: (Gideon Thrath)

Awakening Eyes", gives him/her the ability to remake their body into one that he/she finds to be his "ideal"(NOTHING COMPLETELY OFF THE WALL OR YOU WILL BE THROWN). However, this put a large strain on the users mind, and causes him/her to lose part of their memory. Not complete amnesia.

Those whom posses the abilities are called the "Mekakushi Dan". Even though some who have joined do not posses power.

 

 

 

Rules:

1) The major rule is this; please enjoy yourself.

2) Stick around as much as you can--the more that everyone posts the more the story can advance, so have a good time and don't be afraid to have your character make some strange or interesting decisions, it will only make the RP more interesting. Interact with other people.

3) Don't over do your abilities.

4) Go with the flow. People will make their own choices and the story will encounter a few twists and turns. It's more interesting when characters have to deal with thus twists naturally.

Kurumi has always hate her ability. That second her mother died, nobody seemed to see her until Kurumi actually touched someone. Her ability is why she became a NEET. She uses it not to be seen in her house...even though Concealment is weaker around those who know the person using it. She has only let one person see her, his name is Kuroto...or Kuro. Kuro has lately been traumatized by a woman who calls herself Kana.

 

Kana is like Kurumi....but not. Kana can see Kurumi when Kurumi used her ability. Kana is out to kill her for just having the ability. Kurumi ask herself why sometimes, but can never answer why.

 

School is ending this week, and summer is right around the corner. With this being the last week of School, Kurumi is out and about. Kuro has no choice but to go to school along with others. Little does he know, Kuro goes to school with some people like Kurumi.

 

Today was Tuesday, he sat on a bench outside with several textbooks and some assignments. Kuro was studying for the final exams that were...tomorrow. Using her Concealment, Kurumi sat beside Kuro. What a terrible mistake that was. Kuro imminently moved positions and accidentally hit Kurumi, making her ability vanish until she activates it.

"S-Sorry Kurumi!!" He exclaimed, scooting away from her for a second.

"It's okay Kuro." She responded back.

"You scared me..." Kuro sighed.

"I always scare you." Kurumi said seriously.

"What would you like Kurumi?" He asked, looking at her.

"Come to the Komae Apartments after school gets out. Building three, room 107. That will be out meeting place for the Mekakusuki. The apartment used to be my sisters but she's going to be moved out today around the time school gets out. Once she moves out, the apartment is mine." Kurumi said, handing Kuro a letter.

Kuro wasn't the only one to receive this letter. All of the Mekakusuki Dan got a letter like this.

 

"To: Mekakusuki Dan Member

 

Hello, my name is Kurumi Himura. I am a NEET and am not normal. Why am I not normal? I have an ability. It's called Eye Concealment. It blocks others from seeing me unless someone touches me, or knows me.

 

The reason why you were given this letter is because you might have a similar ability. If you do NOT have an ability, you still must come.

 

In my concealment and stalking of mysterious people, I have discovered that there are other people like us. They just want to ruin us though. They want to kill us.

 

We are going to stop these people.

 

Come to the Komae Apartments after school gets out. Building three, room 107. That will be out meeting place for the Mekakusuki Dan.

Luke & Kuro had obviously followed Dagon as Kageyama had told them there Kurumi was being held. As they made it to the 2nd floor to the door where Kurumi was in, Luke went silent as if he was thinking about something really important. As Dagon kicked the door open & shot Isaac's scalpel out his hands the lights in the lab room went out & well as the lights in the hallway where Dagon, Luke, Kuro & Kageyama were in, which Isaac could use the few moments to escape with at least one of Kurumi's eyes. Soon all the lights went back on in the hallway & lab room & both Kana & Emaralda stood within the hallway blocking off each exit "Looks like everything is going as I planned, thanks for coming Dagon, hee hee" said Emaralda as Luke turned to face Emaralda with his sword at the ready "EMARALDA! Why would you do such these horrible thing to Kurumi & us?, what's this really about?" said Luke all angry at like. Emaralda saw Kageyama in Luke's group of friends "So Kageyama...I see your helping our enemies. Does this mean your changing sides? Cause if so, You'll die just like them" said Emaralda.

 

Emaralda then closed her eyes for a moment "Humph, you of all people should know the answer to that Luke...after all, I'm only continuing your old plans, even if you left us" said Emaralda as she then opened her eyes starring at Luke & the rest of his friends "W-What are talking about? I have no plans" said Luke as if he was trying avoid something "DON'T PLAY DUMB WITH ME LUKE!! We both know what I'm talking about here,Oh wait..you've been keeping it a secret haven't you Luke, HAHAHAHA! OH MY, hahaha, that's truly funny" laughed Emaralda "Grr..SHUT UP!!!" yelled Luke in anger "Humph...Well if you won't say anything...then I will" said Emaralda as she then looked at Luke's friends before saying to them "Did Luke ever tell you guys that it was him that created the Azami group with me along time ago when we were just kids?.... When we were just kids I was the first to awaken my eyes power, Luke awakened his eyes power soon after & we both soon decided to made a group calling it the 'Azami'. Some time had pasted by until late one night Luke come into my room as I was sleeping & he....HE STOLE MY LEFT EYE!!"

 

Emaralda then drew her katana blade "If it wasn't for my other eye going into a continues strain I might not even be here right now!" yelled Emaralda once again. Luke just stood there with a saddened face as he looked down at the floor "A real brother would never do such a thing! & don't think I don't know that you were also trying to take your friends eyes ever since you first met them Luke. Kurumi's, Dagon's, Yuki's, Claude's, Gideon's & even Code's eyes. You wanted them since the beginning didn't you Luke?!" said Emaralda "N-No....I" said Luke trying to say something "To bad for you Luke, I'm one step ahead of you...I've already managed to obtain your other friends eyes, the eyes of awakening, the eyes of Focusing, the eyes of Analysis & Animal Communication, your eye of Paralysis, the eyes of Captivation & Soon I'll have Dagon's & Kurumi's eyes to add to my new plan. The plan of the Azami group will soon be reached....just like you wanted Luke" said Emaralda "Kana...retrieve Dagon's eyes for me. I'll handle the rest" said Emaralda to Kana across the hallway. Luke was shocked to realise that he hadn't seen Code, Claude, Yuki or Gideon for a while now & that Emaralda must have either killed them for their eyes or had only taken their eyes from them, leaving them blind. Luke went silent wondering what his friends might be thinking of him now that Emaralda had told them a bit about his past with his sister.

"Yea, about that," Kageyama said to Emarelda "Being held hostage and left for dead can change a mans loyalties for a hot second." He pulled out his gun. He shot two bullets into nearby cases of acid , which sprayed near Emarelda . "Here is the deal, kids. You don't kill me, I won't kill you, as much as you think I am evil, I'm not. I just hate your kind." He fired a couple of of rounds at his ex-boss and compatriots. "And she is making herself look like the greater of two evils." He then used focus, an fired a round into Issacs leg, which bled. "Follow the trail if you want, kid." He said to Luke "I'll take the girl. Unless you have something better."

(Plot twist~)

 

Kuro looked at Luke.

"Did you really do that....?" He muttered.

Luke was working with them though, so he wasn't evil, right?

"Emaralda! You stole one of everyone's eyes, so why do you care?! You got one of Luke's eyes, so you had your revenge! What do you want? Why do you want more of them?" Kuro yelled.

 

Kana shook her head.

"I'm not going to take Dagon's eyes." She said bluntly.

"This boy", she pointed to Kuro, "he is correct"!

"Why do you need their eyes? Ever since I joined this group, I've been treated worse then I have ever been treated. You have be foul to your comrades. I'll be joining Kageyama, and all the others. You are a terrible leader, Emaralda." Kana yelled.

 

Kana back up beside Kuro.

"Once Kageyama gets Kurumi, get Luke and get out of here, if Emaralda tries to stop you, I'll be the human sacrifice." She said seriously, however quietly.

Kuro smiled at Kana and nodded.

"Okay, thanks Kana." Kuro said, looking at Kageyama.

He nodded his head, motioning to go get Kurumi.

"Dagon! Distract Isaac!" Kana yelled.

"Kuro, do you think we could take her? We both have knives, and Luke might help us." Kana muttered.

Kuro gave an excited nod.

"I bet we can." He smiled.

"Oh... Okay...." Kageyama laughed. "I can't believe this... You have a bad taste in allies, 'boss'" he dashed, careful to avoid any eye contact "LETS GO!". He grabbed Kurumi. "Huh, and to think i was trying to kill you not a moment ago..."

Dagon glared at isaac "you're going to suffer for what you did to her..." he said grabbing the chainsaw on his back.

He reved it up and laughed insanely "Lets dance!" he yelled charging at Isaac.

"I'd rather not." Isaac stated simply. He shrugged off the non-fatal shot to his leg inhumanly. As he finished the sentence, one of his chimeras pounced and mauled Dagon as he was left vulnerable from behind. Many chimeras followed, attacking him as well as everyone else but himself and Emaralda. Isaac stepped on Dagon for a moment and ran, grabbing Kageyama from behind and pulling him back. He carried a liter of liquid with him and brought him and Kurumi, "You may walk away with your one eye," he began, and doused the entire container of pure bleach onto their faces, "But I wouldn't just let you leave with a functional one." Isaac's chimeras continued attacking, but each had their individual pain even when not being attacked themselves. They wouldn't last forever.

Swiftly, Kasumi arrived and wrapped her arms around Emaralda's neck, in a choke hold as Alexander slammed her to the floor.

Dagon reved the chainsaw up, slashing a chimeria in half,he then killed the other chimeria attacking the others. "come back here isaac!" he shouted "come finish what your pets started!" he continued

As Kageyama shot the nearby cases of acid & sprayed near Emaralda, Emaralda backed up a bit "This won't stop me Kageyama" said Emaralda. Kageyama soon shot some bullets at Emaralda "Humph" said Emaralda as she somehow managed to dodge the bullets with ease. Luke then spoke answering Kuro's question "Yes...." said Luke still looking at the floor with a sad face, soon Luke's left eye had tears running down his cheek. Then Emaralda's left eye that she stole from Luke also soon had tears running down her cheek, Emaralda quickly rubbed her tears from her face but the tears kept on running down her cheek. Emaralda then heard what Kana & Kuro said to her "So you too Kana....I can't say I didn't see this coming. I've killed so many of the Azami that have betrayed us....very well then, both you & Kageyama will suffer for your betrayal, I'll see to that myself & this is more than just getting revenge on my brother you fools. As for why I'm collecting each of the Mekakushi Dan eyes, hee hee, why don't you ask Luke that question?" said Emaralda showing a little grin. Luke then took a few steps towards Emaralda "Emaralda...I know I did you wrong but you can change..just like how I've changed. I'm a better person now, I can be the big brother you want, one that would love & support you & never again hurt you" said Luke "SAVE IT LUKE!! Your only acting like you care...I'll never fall for such nonsense ever again, NEVER!" yelled Emaralda in anger "I'll hurt you in the same way you hurt me Luke..by killing Kurumi" said Emaralda.

 

Then all of a sudden Kasumi arrived and wrapped her arms around Emaralda's neck, in a choke hold as Alexander slammed her to the floor "I-I won't GIVE UP!! AAAHHH!!!" yelled Emaralda as her body started to grow heaps of muscle mass all of a sudden, Emaralda then jumped from laying on the floor smashing Kasumi & Alexander into the hallways ceiling then quickly grabbing Kasumi's left wrist & Alexanders right ankle, spinning them both around before letting go of them both as they then smashed into the sides of the hallway, then Emaralda landed on her feet quickly picking up her katana blade that she had dropped when Kasumi & Alexander pinned her on the floor "hee hee, Nice try, but I''m not that easy to take down" said Emaralda as she started analyzing her opponents. Luke then lifted his head up starring at Emaralda & started to unravel the bandages around his right eye that was taken "I was hopping I'd never have to use this, but If your serious about fulfilling the plan of the Azami...I can't let you obtain anymore eyes & I DEFINITELY WON'T LET YOU KILL KURUMI!!" yelled Luke as he's bandages were now on the floor revealing that Luke actually has a new right eye "So your using my left eye now, guess we had the same idea brother" said Emaralda "I implanted your eye I stole while I was at Kuro's house recovering...I'm done talking to you" said Luke.

 

Luke then quickly turned his attention to Isaac with Kurumi & Kageyama, Luke ran towards Isaac as fast as he can quickly using his right eye to draw Isaac's attention then paralyzing him before he could do anymore to his friends. Luke kicked Isaac away quickly grabbing Kurumi "Don't worry, I got you Kurumi. COME ON KAGEYAMA! LETS GET OUT OF HERE!" yelled Luke as he started to run towards the door & Luke wasn't being attacked by the chimeras as they were afraid of Emaralda & her eyes which is why didn't try to attack Luke as he has one of her eyes. Meanwhile Emaralda jumped through the whole in the side wall were Kasumi was smashed through landing next to Isaac "Grrr, this pain hurts but it's nothing to what Luke has done to me" said Emaralda to herself as her muscle mass went back to normal. Emaralda then unfroze Isaac & snatched Kurumi's right eye that Isaac took out "Finally, just one more to go" said Emaralda as she quickly put it into a little jar to keep it in good condition. Emaralda then hide the jar in her clothes "Your next Dagon" said Emaralda.      

(RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN!!!!) 

Kageyama was about to bolt with Kurumi and Luke. "To tell me that would insult my intelligence of the surrounding problem." He donned a deadpan stare. "I'm beginning to think that this is only the calm before the storm... And it seems I'm going to have to ride it out with you guys for a while..." He backed out the door, firing a couple of rounds at the mad doctors equipment. "I never liked your freaky a**!"

Kuro ran with Luke along with Kana.

"Luke! Take Kurumi and get out of here." Kana yelled.

"It will be okay Kurumi. Kana, I, Kageyama, and all the rest will fight for you." Kuro thought. 

"So, Kuro..." Kageyama said, with a smile " In case we do get out of here, wich I'm having doubts about by the way, what's your after plan?"
