Hi guys, I'm kinda new to the forums so I hope I don't break any rules in my first post

 

So I finally get my copy of KH1.5HD ReMIX today and I boot it up with a flood of nostalgia coming to me and I beat the tutorial to hear only the Destiny Island theme; no voice and no "Wake up you lazy bum." This is depressing but I remember that the team had lost some of the original assets and figured that that was the problem. I run to talk to Tidus and another sad event, only the subtitles say "Hey Sora. You feelin today?" So I google to see what the problem is and it seems to be a fairly common bug. Has anyone experienced this? Know any fixes? Also how long do you think it'll take SE to put out a patch. I NEED TO HEAR PEOPLE!

Manafacturing error, likely. Either return your copy if you can or hold out for a patch that might not come.

I can't return it easily as I live in a rural area and a bought it online from a retailer based is urban area. The closest store is 3.5 hrs away If this was not a problem, I'd returned it in a heartbeat but it looks like a may have to wait for a patch while I play SP:Blacklist and GTAV  (Always have a backup plan)

I ran into the same problem. It seems my audio works better if I'm patient when I start up the game. So don't right away click the game, then load and stuff. You have to remember, this game is 11 years old, it's not as fast as it used to be! Lol

If you pause during cutscenes, sometimes it will cut out the audio when it comes back on and not work correctly. It happened to me in the colloseum during the cutscene before the battle with cerberus. I paused it during the cutscene before and when I turned it back on, none of the voices worked and then the battle started and there was no music or sound at all. I just restarted the game and it was fine.

Yeah, this happened to me as well (though in my case not sure if it was just a messed up HDMI cable which could also be the case). It only gave me problems in Deep Jungle so far though.
