"...I confide, Red Dragon tattoo...."

The blaring music from Sora's room told me he was already up, most likely doing more un-needed push ups or something, so I headed down the hall to Kairi's room.

" Hey, Kairi! Wakie wakie! " I yelled, throwing open her door.

A string of lovely cuss words that'd make a sailor blush ( or at least feel embarrased ), and a pillow smacking me in the face told me she was up.

" Breakfast in ten, Sunshine." I said.

Kairi yelled something that certainly wasn't " Good morning, Roxas", and stamped over to slam the door in my face.

Yeah: fun mornin' so far, I thought.

I headed down the two steps leading to the kitchen, hearing the pipes of the old house creak around me as Sora and Kairi took showers.

The sun shining through the window in orange " God Rays " warmed the room, and I unfurled my wing to allow it to soak up the heat.

Glossy black in texture, the feathers shiny and soft, my one wing had served me just as well as Sora and Kairi's two, even though they treated it like a genetic disorder or something.

I, for one, prefered my individualty: made me glad to be me.

well.... MOST days.

I watched madoka magika videos a few nights ago. Ya know, sometimes, darker media can be so soothing when your heart feels so delicate...

Sora dragged himself out of his room around 8, shirtless as usual, his tawny brown wings tightly folded against his back.

" Mornin'. " He grunted, slamming down into a chair.

I annoyedly brushed my hair out of eyes ( chop chop time again... ), and put some bacon in to cook.

" Plans for today?" Asked Sora, picking his teeth with one finger.

" Oh, I dunno... we kinda need some more groceries and junk... "

Sora hummed loudly, once again annoying the crap outta me with  Red Dragon Tattoo's annoying lyrics.

I flapped my wing in annoyance, as the bacon began to sizzle.

Kairi banged out of her room, her white dove wings still damp from the shower.

They way we prepared our clothes to admit our wings required skill... and a box cutter.

As jointed and flexiable as bird wings, we simply slit long tears, nearly invisable to the eye at first glance, up the back, allowing free movement of our wings.

It was a hassle, but worth the effort.
