Hey pokemon fans, with x and y now on the market and marking the official 6 generations released it got me thinking back and seeing just how far we've come in pokemon- in every way. Graphics, animation, not just having rough sprites for characters anymore its just mind boggling to think back on my experiences since the first game I played.

my first pokemon game was gen 3 with sapphire. Then I somehow got emerald and remember being blown away when I saw those sprites move so much. I thought the graphics and battle play had improved so much from sapphire and when I moved to pearl I thought it couldnt get much better.

and here we are now, with the most ground breaking thing to happen in pokemon in a while. At 6th gen, its crazy to think I was impressed by sprites doing the same motion over and over again. Or getting night and day time in the games. Ah, nostalgia.

Just had to share it. No one I know has either ever liked pokemon or stopped liking it after like crystal. So I just had to gush and release my nostalgia on people of like minds....

The nostalgia. I still remember being at my cousins house many times and he let me play his Pokemon Yellow on his GameBoy Color. It was probably the best day of my life because my parents didn't get me Pokemon Games...and usually I would be watching my cousin play. He almost let me borrowed the Pokemon Yellow and GameBoy Color but changed his mind.

Wasn't until several years ago when Pokemon Pearl came out that my parents bought me a Pokemon Game. A few days later I saw Pokemon Emerald on sale for $5 at Fry's and my parents didn't hesitated because it was derp cheap. Soon after, Pokemon Ranger and Pokemon Soul Silver. Good times...good times.

I might get Pokemon X and Y but I don't own the latest Nintendo device :3

I first got introduced to Pokemon when I saw Pikachu in Super Smash Bros on the N64,a couple of weeks later, the anime started airing in my country which was my big introduction to the world of Pokemon

The first Pokemon games I've played were Pokemon YellowRed and Pokemon Stadium....and the rest is history ^_^

To be honest,it was Pokemon that introduced me to the RPG genre,a genre that I used to hate when I was a kid but thanks to Pokemon it's now my favorite genre

Also,If it wasn't for Pokemon I might've never knew about Kingdom Hearts.

I first saw the anime

Then I played Friend's Emerald

Then I got my Grandma(God rest her soul) and blackmailed my Dad into getting Red Rescue Team(My favorite game till I get X)

Then I got Diamond and Platinum

Then I got Black Version

Now I'm bout to trade in both my PS3s(Cause my parents are separated)and my old Wii to get a 3DS XL, Pokémon X, and a PS4
