Hey pokemon fans, with x and y now on the market and marking the official 6 generations released it got me thinking back and seeing just how far we've come in pokemon- in every way. Graphics, animation, not just having rough sprites for characters anymore its just mind boggling to think back on my experiences since the first game I played.
my first pokemon game was gen 3 with sapphire. Then I somehow got emerald and remember being blown away when I saw those sprites move so much. I thought the graphics and battle play had improved so much from sapphire and when I moved to pearl I thought it couldnt get much better.
and here we are now, with the most ground breaking thing to happen in pokemon in a while. At 6th gen, its crazy to think I was impressed by sprites doing the same motion over and over again. Or getting night and day time in the games. Ah, nostalgia.
Just had to share it. No one I know has either ever liked pokemon or stopped liking it after like crystal. So I just had to gush and release my nostalgia on people of like minds....
