June 4, 201015 yr You expect 12-16 year olds to go to Africa? If they go with their parents, why not?
June 4, 201015 yr Lmfao. That article made me laugh. ;A; -- Dislike of-- ;A; UHWHUUUT?!? D; ------ Anyways, since soccer is like...part of my life, I want to go. I want to go soooo badddd. But my dad was like, "Wahh money. Whaah. Whaah. Money. Danger. Danger. Money. Wahh," the moment I asked him so. >;
June 4, 201015 yr Whaaat, everyone hates me now? ;w; ICE-HOCKEY IS WHERE THE MEN ARE AT. <3 But yeah, I guess Africa can be a dangerous place. D: I remember some big news thing about some attack against a football team, and several died... Was that in Africa?
June 4, 201015 yr I hate soccer as well, so we both have similar opnions. One thing that I can't understand is how such a poor country like Africa could afford to have the world cup, people are dying there because there's no food, this is so stupid
June 4, 201015 yr True, Gizelita, but maybe they are trying to get more attention with the World Cup? And not all African countries are poor.
June 4, 201015 yr i wanna goooo ;A; @kaiso yaa mine was like "WE SHOULD GO but we're poor sorry bai" /mows the lawn |:< @kuro WHAAT? YOU HAA-- ohhockey<3o-o/shot plzmrlinesmenletheplayersfiighttt @gizelita how can you say that when its south africa we're talking about? do you not realize what a big success it is that the world cup is being held there? do us all a favor and look something up jussst a liiiiiittttleeee biit before you post, like ever again, kay? btw, africa isnt a country, its a continent. (:
June 5, 201015 yr I know, but what about all the poor countrys there are? And I know quite a lot about the world cup (if the boys in my class stoped to talk about it every single day I wouln't know anything) you can say the same about Brazil, after this worldcup the next is going to be here but our country is really trying to attract attention (like it does everytime something great happens ) but this isn't going to be good for us, all the money that should be used to make the education and health system better is going to this stupid worldcup, if they at least tryed to make our country a bit better before that, but no they don't care about the population. But this is getting too close to politics, so this is enough for now. @Kuroishii: Not all South Africa, but most of it, we've been studyng those countrys in Geography, and you can see that the economics potential is with 5% of the population so the rest is poor.
June 5, 201015 yr @kuro WHAAT? YOU HAA-- ohhockey<3o-o/shot plzmrlinesmenletheplayersfiighttt tacklingandbloodandmenlymenffyes 8D Eh, sorry, going a bit off-topic... >w>;; WILL NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN. D: @Kuroishii: Not all South Africa, but most of it, we've been studyng those countrys in Geography, and you can see that the economics potential is with 5% of the population so the rest is poor. Well, sponsoring the World Cup isn't probably limited ooonly to South Africa. Who said other countries can't take part in it money-wise? And what I meant was, that if Africa gets more attention via the World Cup, it might lead to people helping the poor countries out more. Soccer is a popular sports, after all. I have to admit, though, that it's not always that wise to invest into a big event if the economical state of the country is bad.
June 7, 201015 yr o-o my biffles brothr is playing at the World Cup. so she gets to go. i MIGHT get to go with her. if my parents stop thinking about it and give me an answer nao D:
