[has small spoiler from end of game] easy heart points

Posted

ok, i figured out a easy way to make heart points, and im not talking about that mission in wonderland near the end, that takes way to long, im talking about the training missions in olympus! think about is, endless waves of heartless at your disposal! there is always that issue of not having enough heart points. well, if you have a totaly powerful weapon at hand, such as kingdom key+ (equip zero gear(received after beating and saving game) and either add three ability panels or none at all (if in mission mode, don't add three ability panels, makes you dual weild, but hardly as effective as final boss battle) and enter a mission such as mission 39 on the day 119 tab. you should easily be able to defeat the enemies presented to you. In mission 39, use lv 5 blizzard magic to instantly wipe away those pesky healers, and with kk+, you should easily beable to destroy the cannon with two regular ground combos with 4 sight pannels attached, and to defeat the clay armor, hit it with thunder magic, then strike its vulnerable head repeatedly, and if you have a high enough level, you can defeat it the first time it is knocked down with thunder magic. when the training begins, do not use the barrels, attack the heartless straight forward with your keyblade, and easily gain 2000+ heart points in the three training rounds phil presents you with

if any one has a way that collects more, please inform me about it, even 2000+ hearts isn't enough in just one sitting to satisfy me

tl;dr :P

Thanks for the info though.

One thing is, in those training missions with Phil, you can do it as many times as your mission gauge allows. Once you fill it completely, you can't do it anymore for that mission. So, watch it. When it's almost to the orange, fully-completed level, stop. That way, you can go another round and get even more.

LIE! that is not a fact, at least for the first one with the soldiers, ive been able to complete the whole gauge in the first round, and it still let me do the other two rounds

You callin' me a liar, boy!? I've done this hundreds of times. When you fill up that bloody mission gauge all the way, completely, not just enough to RTC <--- OMG LOOK AT THAT. Phil says he has to leave.

I had to do the Soldier mission to get enough points for Xigbar and that applied there too. I don't know what the crap you're playing, but it ain't Days.

i dont mean to dash your credability, and trust me, i believe you when you say that you weren't able to do all three rounds of the training, but i have been able to do all three, but have the orange bar completed all the way, if i had the stuff to make a video, i would, and i'd put it on you-tube, but i don't have that kinda stuff, or the skills to do it, so, yeah, if you think im wrong, i don't blame you, so yeah, i could check that again

..... I was able to do three rounds, though. I never said I didn't. I said once you fill the gauge all the way, you can't do any more. I never said anything about only doing one or two rounds. In fact, my original message was on when you get close to filling the gauge, stop, so you can do another round and get more heart points.

sorry, my mind is just really slow right now, in fact, i just havent been able to understand anything recently, i just dont get what you are saying, you just said that, of course, you can do all three rounds, just not by filling up the orange bar or something like, that, i dont know, for some reason i see your statement as a contradiction, maybe you could explain it to me, im a little slow considering somethings,

Okay, lemme think here....

Alright, listen. Each round you have to defeat Heartless. Every time you defeat a Heartless, the mission gauge goes up a little. But you knew that.

Each round you get around... I'd say around a third of that gauge filled. At least I do. So, the last round you play that gets you close to filling the gauge, stop right before you fill it up completely. Like, one Heartless away from completeing. Let time run out, and you can go one more round, since once you completely fill the gauge up, you can't do any more rounds. This way you'll get an extra round in.

Now, if I remember correctly, there's a recon mission that involves some rounds. I'm not too sure. I'll go back and play it to see, but I think you can only do it a maximum of four rounds, because I think I tried to do that before and it stopped me. But then again, I think that recon mission involved only barrels, and you didn't get any heart points from them.

OHH!, now i see what you were saying, i thought you meant, like, if you filled the mission bar all the way to orange on the first one, the fighting would stop, thankyou for explaining that, extra round huh, i wonder how much it would allow you to get, but for some reason i think you might just get more with defeating as many heartless as you can just by attacking them, and that training mission with the recon is just wacking barrels, nothing else

Alright, here's the results of my experiment:

The first time, I filled up the gauge in two rounds. (I think because I got so many the first time that I actually had to stop because it was getting too full.) I left that last little bit, and like I thought, it gave me another round. But when I was done with that one, it gave me another. But after that, it didn't give me any. Theory: We were both right. It seems that there's a minimum of three rounds if you want to fill up the gauge. Total Heart Points: 2039, which amounts to around 7136 for spending. (Mine says x3.5, but I noticed on my proud mode it has x2.75. Might do with the difficulty or levels, but still.)

The second time, I paced it out and used the initial three rounds to get up to the point where you're close to filling the gauge fully. The problem? After three rounds, it cut me off. So only three rounds for the mission starting off with the Clay Armor. But, I distinctively remember a mission where there were no limits on rounds... it wasn't the one where you go for the games and you get to see your character do their little victory weapon wave, because that one has five rounds with set Heartless. I think it's the one with the Loudmouths.
