What the title asked, pretty much. I'm always incredibly attached to my Pokemon, and won't do anything that lowers happiness. I know they're virtual creatures, but I still can't help it... I've had some specific ones that I remember fondly, though.
Generation 3 (Emerald Version)- Emerald the Sceptile, Ruby the Tentacruel, and Sapphire the Gardevoir. These three were pretty much the main force of my team from one playthrough in Emerald. I barely even remember the team except for these three, I loved them that much. Ruby and Sapphire were my favorite Double Battle team, and were famous for that. These three were some of my favorite companions ever, but sadly, I believe I lost Emerald in between generations, and possibly Ruby and Sapphire as well... Rest in peace, friends. You did well, and were a great group of Pokemon.
Generation V (White 2 Version)- Bacon the Emboar. He was one of the most reliable members of my team, and I was very close to him. White 2 is the game in which I raised my team to the highest average level due to the amount of content, which made me feel very attached to all of them. Bacon was my first however, and my best friend from Generation V. When Pokemon Bank is released, I'll transfer him and the others over to my Y Version to let their legacy live on...
Also, there was Sparks the Electivire. Him and Bacon were definitely the strength of my team. While a lot of the other members began to slightly fall behind, Bacon and Sparks only got stronger and stronger as time went on, and became two of the most powerful Pokemon I've ever used.
Finally from White 2, was Sludgie the Muk. However, this wasn't due to strength. In fact, I felt like I'd failed Sludgie. Like I said, my other team members slightly fell behind. Sludgie felt this the most, and became the least powerful member of my team. I felt like I could have done much better for her, and it was certainly my fault that she'd fallen behind. However, I couldn't let her go. I had made it my goal to train her and make her the best Muk in the Unova region. While Y Version interrupted this, I still have that goal going for her.
Generation VI (Y Version)- Glenn the Greninja. Once again, my very first Pokemon in this new land. I always grow attached to my starter, and Glenn has been one of my favorite Pokemon for this game so far. The two of us have overcome six gyms together so far, and we've stuck together through every challenge that's come our way.
Blaziken was another. While I couldn't give him a name ,he was still one of the Pokemon closest to me. He could always fix a tough situation, and stood up to all challenges, no matter how tough they were. He's also been with me since the start, and will certainly be one of my major forces for the rest of the game.
And the last one from Generation VI is Marluxia the Venusaur. Similarly to Sludgie, I feel like I could be raising Marluxia so much better. I've made a goal to ensure that I can raise Marluxia to be the best Venusaur I've ever seen, and have no intentions of quitting from that path.
So, any of you guys have any Pokemon that have become far more than just pixels on a screen to you?
