three questions, ive never played either games so i wouldn't know, first off, leons phrase: "we may never meet again, but we'll never forget each other."

is that actually from ffviii, or did they just make that up, second, does aerith sound like either of her voice actings? if so, kh1 or kh2 voice acting,

and finaly, does sephiroth sound like his kh2 voice acting?

For Leon's phrase, it isnt actually in FFVIII but they probably based it on his personality in the game.

 

For Aerith and Sephiroth, the KHII voice actings are their actual voices (from Advent Children, where they actually have voices lol).

1. I've played through over half of FF8, and he never says it. It's probably something they came up with for Leon's character.

 

2. FF10 was the first game in the franchise to have voice acting. The original Aerith sounded like text in a text box and bgm. Her first voice ever was from KH1.

Basically, yeah. It's soft, but extremely bland.

No, Squall (Leon) doesn't say that in FF8. His catchphrase is "Whatever." mostly , and he's not as social in FF8. But he does make a promise to Rinoa (his girlfriend) that is something sorta like that.

I agree with this. I mean, Mandy Moore was okay, and don't get me started on Menu Suvari, but Andrea Bowen is really the best Aerith I've heard imo. If Aerith makes another appearance in a future title, I'm hoping that's who she'll be voiced by.
