How do you feel about the oil spill in New Orleans? Some people are saying its the presidents fault becaues he supported drilling for oil and thats why he hasnt done anything. How do you feel about it? Talk about it.

i think we should shove the idiots in charge of the drilling inside the source of the spill [pipe im assuming i cbf to look] and everyone else that thinks its okay to drill in the water to clog the spill up

Next president or Barack Obama better make Underwater Drilling Illegal. I don't wanna see another Oil Drum in the Monongahela River >_>.

If this has happen already, why didnt the government do anything to prevent it again? I mean arnt we suppose to learn from our mistakes?

Well don't forget that oil is limited. One day we will run out of oil and have to find a new source, for all we know we could run out of oil in a few years. I say they should only drill underwater when in an oil crisis

True, mabye eletric? I mean like you said theres other fuels than fossil fules.

Hm, I live close to New Orleans. It is quite tragic seeing all these people coming to where I live to escape the chaos there. I agree that we should focus on more alternative fuels. I do not like standing in political arguments but I am more for environment protection and what I see is failing our system. Yes, drilling for oil under ocean floors is productive, but it also comes with a cost for with what you see here that happened in New Orleans. I think it should be used as a last resort and we should spend our time and energy on enhancing alternative fuel production.

What really gets on my never is that there still trying to play the blame game when Bp and the government just be trying to clean up. Somebody needs to pass laws about this kind of things!
