Lights Out

Much of the Pokémon world runs on electricity but what if you were the reason it was to all....disappear. it was on one fateful day.....you found a switch.....and pulled it out of your own curiosity.....it was out of this act.... that in just a matter of minutes... electricity went out all around the globe. After that, after the panic people adapted and built small settlements around the country. everyone lived without power but thrived for it to return. pokeballs no longer worked so befriending pokemon was all that people could do. from that very day.... pokemon lived freely.... without trainers catching them..... they could fight back. but still bonds of friendship were formed.... but still..... evil reigned.


Your part in the game is the part of the Hero/ Heroine. You know that sense of justice is not in reach but if strived for you can reach it. but some don't see this as their part in the game..... so they Play as a bystandard, one who was just not in the right place at the right time, one who mysteriously plays the strings as the puppet master, or one who is truly behind the dark acts. either way your place in the game is all but one..... you cannot play the part of the King.... neither on the white or black side. but your mission...as all chess games end. is to kill the king. this is where your story begins..... in the Kanto reigeon, Safferon City. where a building was just toppled by 2 mysterious cloaked figures.

Bio: After exploring the Johto region, Sikota went to Kanto to see how his sister was faring on her first journey alone. The two of them grew up in the Hoenn region, you see. The lights went out in the Saffron Pokémon center. When he made it outside, his Pokéballs were empty. His only ally remaining was Amber.

Bio: A son of a rather important figure, he usually travels around the Hoenn region, the place of his own birth. He was just traveling with his Mudkip and Zorua when he heard the 'whirr' of the pokeballs shutting down. It wasn't long before he arrived at the next town to find that all power had gone out. Everything was down, even the pokeballs no longer worked.

None. However, (And I want to make sure this is okay) Leon has a crystal that will randomly -unless provoked- cause Leon to become a Lucario.

Leon has had Kawa ever since he was six, where Kawa was given to him as a birthday present. His Zorua he obtained from a friend that lived in the Kanto region.

Appearance: Brown hair, green eyes, green jacket, and a beanie hat with the Triforce on it

Did you pull the switch: No. All there was was...darkness.

Bio: Ludicrus was not expecting the blackout at all. Once it did happen, he started adapting to it. Just as well, he, his family, and his Croconaw, Jaws, all went to go and live in one of the other settlements in Kanto made after the blackout. And once he turned 14, his parents thought it was alright for him and Jaws to go out and take a journey around the region. Ludicrus and Jaws entered their first town, Saffron City. It was nice and quaint...until the collapse of the building.

Weapon: Pocket knife

How Ludicrus got Jaws: Ludicrus met Jaws when he was just a Totodile. Ludicrus found the Totodile all alone, next to a river, his leg badly injured. He took the Totodile home, and helped it recover. Eventually it got better, and it never wanted to leave Ludicrus. So Ludicrus kept him, and named him Jaws. Jaws later evolved after some thieves tried to steal from the settlement. Jaws protected them, and evolved in to Croconaw.

How Ludicrus got his Pocket knife: It was a present from his father to remember the family by. He said to use it wisely, and to never play with it.

A trainer from kanto angel in all her life had never seen a blackout of such immense scale. She and her grandmother both decided to stay put at the day care center and keep watch over the pokemon. Angel herself is extreamly gentle and hasnt caught a single pokemon.

Weapon: none

She gained her pokemon as a result of her being kind to even wild pokemon. She smiled, played, fed and took care of them as they lived in the nearby areas.

Bio: When the power went off, Robert was fighting a wild ursaring with his swampert. Swampert was defeated but no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't get Swampert back into his pokeball. Thus, the ursaring killed Swampert. Not only that, but all of Robert's other pokemon were still in his homeland of the Hoen region, so he couldn't get to them. So now he's learned to fight without pokemon. Now he's in Safferon City, looking for work as a hero for hire.

How did you acquire the pokemon and or the weapon?: Rose got an Eevee egg from her grandmother when she was young, hatching it and evolving it into a Sylveon. She had caught the Meowstic about three years ago, and she just befriend the Absol because it warned her of the power outage.

1. At the start of the RP, how much time has passed since the power outage began?

 

2. How many years have passed since the end of Pokemon Red/Blue?

 

3. Now that pokemon are more dangerous, is it considered acceptable to eat pokemon?

 

4. What has changed about the Kanto region? Are all of the old towns and cities still around? Has Cinabar Island been resettled?

3. personally I've always wondered about this but I'm guessing its implied in the series, I'm not sure. Maybe a poll should be had.

4. Cinnabar Island has been resettled, the power plant is now completely run down and used by electric types as a technical recharge station, lavender town is still very sad, the safari zone is extreamly dangerous, many more pokemon from other reigeons now inhabit the lands as well.

I don't know about you, but I'm ready to start this thing.

Bio: Ferro was tired of everybody forgetting about him when he was little. So when he got old enough, he pulled a switch which shut off the power, then wrecked the power plants. Everybody forgot he did it, of course, so now they all live without electricity. And Ferro is still at large.
