A certain scan was leaked today from the upcoming issue of V-Jump, which shows off a few new scenes in Lightning Returns between Lightning and the demonically playful Lumina. The bigger surprise it contains, though, is a first look at a full render of Bhunivelze- God of Light, creator of the fal’Cie gods, and (according to the people of Nova Chrysalia) the one who will create a new world for humanity when the current one is consumed by Chaos. There is some as of yet untranslated information on the page which we will update this article with as it comes in, along with a larger version of the scan itself when it surfaces.

Thanks go to Kazu of twitter for posting the scan, as well as community member OathkeeperSoraXIII for bringing it to our attention. The page contains some information on the X|X-2 HD remaster as well, which we’ll keep a close eye on.

Lightning Returns releases in Japan on November 21st 2013, in North America on February 11th 2014, and in Europe on February 14th 2014. You can pre-order the game and receive the Cloud Strife DLC equipment set from any retailer, and pre-ordering from Gamestop nets you the Samurai-inspired “Flower of Battle” and “Dark Samurai” sets. All pre-order sets come with a garb, weapon, and shield.

 

And that is the god of Light.... O.o yep... right.... something´s fishy about it.

I have the feeling that Bhunivelze might be the main villain,maybe he told Lightning to gather the remaining souls of humanity to he can consume them

According to the Fabula Nova Crystallis mythology,Bhunivelze killed his mother Mwynn and created three Fal'cies:Etro,Pulse and Lindzei

 

He didn't gave Etro any powers because she resembled his mother and told Pulse and Lindzei to find the gate to the Unseen Realm(which I guess it's Valhalla)

It is Bhunivelze, it says so in the trophy list. I had a feeling it was him from the start due to HOPE AND LIGHTNING NOT HAVING ANY FEELINGS WHATSOEVER. If being blessed by the god of light makes it so you have no feelings, that could easily mean they're being brainwashed into doing what Bhuni wants. Even Lightning said in a picture of a cutscene that the way of the goddess is a fools way, even though she knows how benevolent she was and even served her.

 

Also, another spoiler, somehow you can extend the time limit in LR to a 14th day and break the limit

You know what?it's kinda ironic,the god of light that Hope named his new utopia after is the one that will devour mankind

 

Better be an epic final boss since we're fighting him

Yeah it does explain why Snow and Noel turned against lightning and why alot of people are trying to stop her. Yeah, it was a big thing to find out that they have no feelings, so yeah. But i think as the g ame goes on, Light starts to get her feelings back.
