The world of shinobi has been changed forever since the Fourth Great Ninja War took place, ending in the victory of the Allied Shinobi Force. Since then, the villages returned to normal, and Naruto Uzumaki took the position as the Leaf Village's Hokage. It was believed that the alliance would last forever... However, this sadly was not the case. Now, the next generation of ninja is stepping up to the plate, completely unaware of what awaits them in this new world... Could they have the same effect that Naruto Uzumaki did?

Name: Koukon Yougan

 

Age: 13

 

Appearance: Koukon wears a standard Konoha headband across his forehead. He has medium length black hair, which partially obscures his headband. He commonly wears a red hoodie and blue shorts.

 

Gender: Male

 

Personality: Koukon is fairly quiet most of the time, but lightens up around teammates. He's actually very determined to do his best, and will rarely back down from a situation. He's friendly towards those who he gets to know, and can be jokingly sarcastic towards friends at times. He's also got a soft spot for girls...

 

Bio/Family Heritage: Koukon is the heir to the Yougan clan, a prestigious clan known for its expertise with fire style jutsu. The clan was known to even rival the Uchiha in this field. Koukon was expected to be one of the greatest clan members in years, and went through quite a bit of harsh training to get to this point. However, he never got down about it, and always looked on the bright side: Impressing the ladies with his talent. He was also close friends with the Hokage's daughter growing up. He graduated from the academy at the top of the class, despite being a clown most of the time.

"All right, then, ladies," Kinatama called, standing up and picking at his ear. "As the leader of this squad, I say we head out now. We gotta meet our sensei. Might as well get it done now," He said, casually strolling up the stairs to the exit of the classroom.

 

 

Zalor's eyes flashed with challenge.

 

'Who said that your leader of the squad, hm?' She thought to herself but didn't dare say anything aloud.

 

"Hn. Whatever." She said simply and got up and walked past him, out of the classroom.

"Hmm. Touchy, are we?" Kinatama said, smirking at the girl's back as she walked on. "Yo, string bean, you getter to get to steppin' too! Hurry up!" Kinatama then called to Koukon, leaving him behind as he followed Zalor.

As Zalor walked out of the academy, she bumped into someone. She quickly looked and looked straight into the eyes of a black haired man with strangely golden eyes.

 

"S-Sorry!" She said and backed away some.

 

"Ah. You must be Zalor Senju, hm?" He asked. Zalor nodded.

 

"Yes." She said. He smiled kindly.

 

"I'm Tamaki Uchiha. I'm pretty sure your not the only one?" He said, looking around.

 

"No, sir. There's two others." She muttered, growling slightly at the end of her sentence. Tamaki blinked at her sudden agression, but shook it off.

 

"Alright. Well, let's wait for them, hm?" He smiled. Zalor smiled politely and nodded.

Kinatama caught up with his team and saw a tall man standing with them as well. "Ah, there you are, sir. I assume you're going to be the sensei of our cell. Name's Mottoyoi. Kinatama Mottoyoi. I'll be the second in command of our little group here," Kinatama grinned, sticking his hand out for Tamaki to shake.

 

Tamaki smiled as the 3rd showed up and shook his hand.

 

"Hello Kinatama." He said calmly.

 

Zalor rolled her eyes.

 

"Hn." She crossed her arms.

Kinatama took his hand away and studied Zalor. He noticed that she got all bubbly and nice when she was talking to Tamaki, then decided to sink back into her previous quiet self right when he and Koukon showed up. She must know this guy well. The question is though: how well? And why does she act like that to him and act like a sourpuss to everyone else?

Koukon nodded. "Yes, sir! Koukon Yougan, genin of the Hidden Leaf village!" Koukon smirked, still proud of himself for graduating. He noticed Zalor suddenly get annoyed when him and Kinatama arrived, though. Geez, what does she have against us...?

Zalor walked with Tamaki, heading to the training grounds. She glanced at Kinatama and glared at him.

 

'Why do I have to be team members with these guys? I could've been team members with someone else.' Zalor thought, still glaring at the blonde haired boy.

Koukon followed Tamaki to the training grounds. "So, what are we gonna do here anyway, Tamaki-sensei?" Koukon asked. "I'm ready for anything you've got for me, though!" He boasted, not wanting to be shown up by Kinatama, or Zalor.

Kinatama caught Zalor's strength, and stared back at her. Not glaring like she was, though. In fact, he was thinking. Hmm. This girl. She seems so... well... I don't know what the word is for it... but... I just feel... drawn to her... in some way... I wonder why....

 

When they reached the training grounds, Kinatama snapped out of his thinking mode and went into his normal, fired up mode. "Alright, Tamaki Sensei, what's it gonna be?! I'm ready for it, whatever it is! I don't know about string bean or sunshine over here, but I'm gearing to go, Sensei, I guarantee that!!"

Kinatama caught Zalor's strength, and stared back at her. Not glaring like she was, though. In fact, he was thinking. Hmm. This girl. She seems so... well... I don't know what the word is for it... but... I just feel... drawn to her... in some way... I wonder why....

"Hn. It'll be easy." Zalor muttered. Tamaki chuckled.

 

"Don't worry Zalor, you'll get your fair share of the challenge." He said and took out three bells. "I've decided to do it differently than what everyone else does. It will be two against two. Zalor. You work with Kinatama. And Koukon. You work with me."

 

Zalor blinked.

 

"Why do I have to work with that baka?!" Zalor yelled, then realized she got overly worked up. "Tch..."

"Me with you? This'll be easy, then!" Koukon grinned. "So much for a challenge. So, uh, what's the point of this whole exercise anyway?"

"Heh. I don't mind, Sensei. I'll make sure Zalor doesn't get lost in the crosshairs. I'm sure that Koukon needs all the help he can get anyway," boasted Kinatama, but the announcment of his pairing with Zalor brought back the aura he felt come out from her. He still had no answer to what it was...

Zalor sighed.

 

"Yes sensei." She muttered.

 

'I hope I know what I'm doing....' She thought to herself.

"Hey, what's that supposed to mean, Kinatama!?" Koukon glared at his new teammate, still mad that he was being underestimated. "I could easily take you on if I wanted to!"

"Heh. Don't press your luck, string bean. You can't do what I do in a million years!" Kinatama boasted lound and proud, trying to get on Tamaki's good side.

"Kinatama! Koukon! Stop arguing. How are you two supposed to be a team if you can't even work together?" Tamaki said, looking at Zalor, then the others.

 

"How about we learn more about each other first before we do the test, so we're more comfortable with each other?" Tamaki asked. Zalor shrugged.
