And I am completely clueless when it comes to IVs Think of IVs as special points because you were born that way. Like someone being born to be being good at soccer or is a fast thinker. Think of EVs as someone working in that specific stat. Like someone trying to get better at soccer or is learning to think fast, All trades made in the gave are fixed, so everyone gets the same Pokémon with the same stats, nature, item, and possibly looks.
