Within the now run down, but habitable, confines of Safferon City the largest building, Silph Co, had just exploaded. Many people had began screaming and running away as the building, now ablaze, began to crumble. Smoke clouds rose up to be seen in Vermillion City, Cerulean City, Lavender Town, and Celadon City. This being said even still some stood side by side with their pokemon and tried to put out the fires. While others looked up at the top of the building to see the cause. Two dark figures standing atop Silph Co. One holding an unrecognizable object. The other with an infernape beside them.

 

 

 

And that is where our story begins as well as the game.

Robert was busy eating a sandwich at a picnic bench when he heard a loud bang and smoke coming up in the direction of Silph Co. Fearing that innocent people were in danger, he grabbed his gear and ran off towards the incident. There he saw Silph Co ablaze, as well as some trainers trying to put out the fire. It was at times like this that he wished he still had pokemon with him. He stood a safe distance from the fire, and waited to see if there was any way he could help.

"What the?!" Sikota couldn't believe his eyes as he saw Silph ablaze. He reached in his bag for a Pokéball. "Terra, you help too!" Nothing. All his Pokémon were gone. His Swampert was no exception. He sighed and looked at the dark feline Pokémon beside him. "Looks like it's just you and me Amber." My Umbreon nodded. "Let's go find our sisters, make sure they're okay?"

Leon was in the outskirts of Saffron City. Usually he would be exploring the wilderness of the Hoenn region, but today was different. He had been called in to the Kanto region to meet an old friend, and now he found himself exploring the Kanto region. It was here, near Saffron city, that he saw a billow of smoke rise into the sky. Something was very well on fire. "Kawa." Leon said, looking to his shoulder, where his Mudkip always sat.

The mudkip 'meeped' and looked at Leon, who nodded at the smoke.

 

"Do you suppose we should help out?" Leon asked. The mudkip made a 'kip' noise, which made Leon nod again and run off to Saffron City.

Sikota and Amber headed south. Aria was probably wasting time in the Safari Zone or something. He spotted a young man with a Mudkip. "You there!" He called. He ran over. "You, are you from Hoenn?" He asked.

Leon blinked, and continued to do this as a young man walked up to him.

"Ho-Hoenn region? Yes, I'm from there." Leon replied, wondering what tipped this person off. Then he realized it was probably Kawa, his mudkip; a pokemon that was native only to the Hoenn region-- it could not be found anywhere else.

"Why do you ask?"

"Me too." Sikota replied. "More importantly, my sister is. Have you seen a girl with long silver hair, wearing a white dress. An Eevee at her side? Maybe a Kirlia?"

Aria emerged from the dojo to see the smoke billowing from Silph Co. Out of fear she turned and ran, her Espeon chasing father her, leaving Saffron city from the northern entrance.

Leon shook his head, "I just got here, so no. I haven't." He said, shrugging. Kawa, though, didn't seem to take a liking to this person. The mudkip glared daggers at Sikota, looking as if he was wishing the cruelest tortures.

Leon looked at his mudkip, and flicking the pokemon on the head, "Stop being evil."

Sikota smirked at the Mudkip. "When all this chaos is over, we'll have to battle."

He turned and looked at the burning building. "Should we do something?"

"If we can." Leon replied, Kawa jumping off his shoulder. Leon looked down at him and frowned. He looked back up at the Silph Co. building. Who could've done this? Team Rocket? Team Magma? Leon sighed and watched as firemen and their own pokemon attempted to calm the fires down.

"This...is..quite terrible."

Rose froze as soon as she started hearing explosions.

"Rose! Get down here now!" Her mother yelled.

Rose followed orders quickly, her Sylveon fallowing her.

"Yes mother?" She asked.

"You need to go and help outside with the fires." Her mother snapped.

"But mooommm!" Rose complaint.

"No buts." Her mother said seriously.

"Alright. Here's the plan." Sikota said. "Follow me inside and your Mudkip will clear the path while Amber and I worry about debris and look for people in danger. You willing to take the risk?" He asked.

(I loved that NEKO.)The two figures a top the building nodded to one another before a lunatone and Solrock appeared and then the cloaked figures took hold and began floating towards the East to Lavender Town. With the psychic types giving them a slow decent. Meanwhile the infernape stayed behind and ran off to the core of the fire. To keep the flames burning.A man with long white hair covering his eyes wearing a white jacket with a fur hood, jeans, and white boots watched the two float down. He Stood with a snover and ignoring the building as He calmly walked off to the North towards Cerulean City.Nearby a boy stood with a Manetric, Ampharos, and Magneton. The four seemed to wonder what they could do to help.Along with the other trainers a girl with a Vaporeon, Breloom, and Ninetails were putting out the fires.

"I don't see why not." Leon replied, looking to his mudkip. Kawa looked up at Leon, then padded over to Sikota.

"I think he's taking a liking to you." Leon said, patting his mudkip, "My name is Leon, by the way. Leon Stone."

Rose sighed. She had to obey her mother, so with no choice and her Meowstic her mother usually has in her room, Rose ran out of her house. She looked around the area.

"I saw it somewhere..." Rose muttered.

"Sylv?" Sylveon chimed.

"I saw an Absol somewhere...." She said.

As Robert watched the trainers take care of the fire, he saw two men float away from the scene of the crime on pokemon towards Lavender town. Being the brave yet rash young man he was, he ran off in their direction, in order to figure out if they started the explosion, and try to stop them if they did. As he ran after them, he bumped into a girl with white hair (Rose), nearly knocking her over. "Sorry about that." he said, and ran off out of Saffron City, and into Route 7.

The two figures landed in route 7 one looked to the other and the other held up a small key chained object. They both nodded and looked at the lunatone and solrock and petted the show how proud they were of their pokemon.

Ferro strolled leisurely down route seven, his hands in the pockets of his fleece jacket. He mainly focused on his feet, but looked up from time to time to check where he was going. He saw two people standing in the road up ahead, one with a Lunatone and the other with a Solrock. He approached the pair, nodding to each of them. "You have the thumb drive?"

The one with Lunatone nodded and held it up to Ferro.

 

The flames near the top of Silph Co. Wouldnt seem to go out.

After a great deal of running, Robert finally caught up with the two misterious men, who had now met up with a third. One of the men was holding a flash drive. Robert hid behind a nearby bush, in order to listen in on the three strange men.

"Thanks! I appreciate it." Ferro said as he pocketed the small object. "I suppose you should stand by and await further orders. I don't have anything for you to do." Ferro looked up at the sky for a second. "Well, why don't you go to the rock tunnel outside of Lavender Town to make sure nobody is traipsing around where they shouldn't be." Ferro nodded to them both again and turned away and started walking down route 7 toward Lavender Town.

"Nice to meet you, Leon" Sikota replied. "Name's Sikota." Amber's ears perked up. "Huh?" The Umbreon suddenly ran off. "Hey! Amber! Get back here! Start containing the fire, I'll be right back." Sikota gave chase to his partner. Umbreon ran around town, suddenly stopping when he encountered Rose. He eyed Sylveon curiously.

Rose got pushed forward a bit because of Robert, but she was fine.

"Sorry!!" She exclaimed.

Next thing she knew, she almost stepped on an Umbreon.

"Oh! Sorry!!" Rose said, backing up a bit.

She looked back to see a boy who had looked like he'd been running after the Umbreon.

"Is this your Umbreon?" She asked.

Sylveon simply stared back.
