I was thinking maybe shortcut for magic, or maybe how the keyblade changes.

Fool. It can't be too big. The Xbox1 doesn't have a touch screen, right?

Its most likely square will put some touch screen abilities on PS4 But remember xbox has smartglass

I Like that idea

The XBOX One Smartglass feature is not comparable to the Dualshock 4's touchpad for a couple reasons. Smartglass requires you to set up a phone with your XBOX or a tablet to use as an extra peripheral. It's not meant to serve as a controller of any kind, to my knowledge, (except for some kind of remote play?). And if it is, I doubt it's any kind of substantial controller, given that not everyone has or wants to connect a phone or tablet to the console. You can't take an important gameplay feature and force an extra device onto players so they can use it. Whereas with the Playstation, the touchpad is right there on the controller that comes with the system. Smartglass is comparable to Remote Play, not a built-in controller feature.

If the XBOX One had some sort of touch screen or a touch pad like the Dualshock, then yeah, KH3 could have some feature that uses it. But as it is, I don't think they'll make an entire gameplay aspect centered around a form of control that only one of the two systems it's coming out on have.

And good God, the Dualshock 4 has a Touchpad. Like on your laptop. Not a screen.
