Does equiping accessories count as changing armor?

Posted

I'm trying to do an Unchanging Armor speedrun of 1.5 for the first time and I'm having trouble. I want to equip some accessories but I'm not sure if it will affect me getting the Unchanging Armor trophy.

I haven't actually gone for the trophy but on looking it up most people are saying you cannot equip accessories.  Touch the abilities and item parts all you wan but treat the equipment menu like it's not even there.  You could always try it and save it in a different save file, play through and get your speedster trophy and if you see you don't get the unchanging armor just go back and complete it from where you left off (it's better than finishing and having to start right from the beginning again)

No. I don't see why it should count, as;

  • No one playable is wearing any armor in Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix in the first place.
  • It doesn't even change his appearance, so why bother consider it?

Just saying.

YES! Do not go anywhere near the equipment menu, that's what they consider armor. Don't even change your keyblade.

Yes. That is what the trophy name stands for.

You can equip it as long as you don't change it.
