The rumors are true, it seems. We're getting another Storm game, the sequel to UNS3: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution.

 

There's a couple of things I want to note here: 1) No recycled character art at all in this scan. 2) Logo for the game is of Team Kakashi, so obviously the story is going forward to the Ten Tails Revival Arc. 3) Naruto and Sasuke are doing their Rasengan-Chidori combo from that same arc, so either this is a confirmation of the story mode OR maybe its a confirmation of new Team Jutsu mechanics or possibly Justu Clashes. 4) It seems that the art in the game will be drawn by Kishimoto himself AND that he is creating brand new characters exclusively for the game. Who are they? I don't know. Your guess is just as good as mine.

 

Anyways, that's all I have to say on the matter since is literally the first and only scan/piece of information so far. All I hope is that this game detracts from the flaws that UNS3. (And maybe not do the same stuff that got people bitching.)

Hopefully the four-player matches will be online as well. But that awakening type looks like it will mess up matches. Spammers will be able to use big awakenings with lots of health? I hope not.

There's no way in Hell that these new 4 Player mode style battles won't be available for free battle, online, or even story. CC2 would really be dropping the ball if they did. I'm calling it: 4 Player VS for all modes.

The mode sounds fun, though, I cannot deny that. Let's at least hope that CC2 will consider changing their minds or putting this in Storm 4 for all modes. Or Idk, making another Clash Of Ninja game, that might work too. Very unlikely though...

Why would they want us to know about 4 player multiplayer right now? They might have wanted to wait on that, but put the Ninja World Tournament out there and it caused too much speculation. However, no one actually asked about regular multiplayer, it was all about Ninja World Tournament, which if you didn't catch the first time, it was obviously stated that Ninja World Tournament was a solo game mode with its own story scenario in the scans. 

 

I say there's still a chance at 2-4 player multiplayer being in the game. Honestly it's a stupid idea to easily place Four characters on the screen against a single player and not keep it for multiplayer.

 

Either way, like I previously stated: It's not worth $60 otherwise. I already spent too much by buying Storm 3 just before Full Burst was announced. I'm not making the mistake of burning a hole in my pocket for this game.

Confirmation of a brand new OVA centered around the Akatsuki, tying into the game with Sasori, Deidara, and others getting new costumes in Storm Revolution, drawn by Kishimoto-sensei himself. The OVA is in three parts, with the first part being revealed as "The Birth of the Akatsuki". The scan has shots of all members of the Akatsuki and even Orochimaru showing up to the party.

Well... This trailer felt really poorly made. Also looks like this guy's going to be the new spam character. I really hope that this isn't a sign of what's to come in the future, I really want them to do well with this game. Cyber Connect's screwed up a few games with a lot of potential already, I don't want this to be the next. They're great developers when they try their hardest.

Looks like we've got Shisui Uchiha confirmed as a new character!

And we're going to be getting in-game anime cutscenes about his backstory, too. It's good to see unexpected characters get confirmed. It means there's a chance for playable Kushina.

Looks like Europe has a release date for September (No clue about other regions, this was all I found ). We also got a look at the pre order bonuses... There are three different editions.

 

Rivals Edition:

This one comes with two alternate costumes, as shown in the picture above. These ones are... Hilarious.

 

Samurai Edition:

This one comes with three alternate costumes, pictured above. These costumes look really freaking awesome! I'm happy that they gave Sakura one too, instead of just giving more stuff for Naruto and Sasuke like they usually do.

 

And the Collector's Edition:

Which, as you could assume, comes with all five costumes (At least I think it does, the text is too small for me ), and those other things in the picture.

 

I don't remember if they said this yet or not anyway, but it also looks like there'll be a PC version. Good for the PC crowd, I guess. Anyway, what do you all think of the new pre order bonuses? Get ready for September (If you're in Europe anyway, hopefully for everywhere else too)!
