Shulk 8,623 Posted November 29, 2013 Alright, so I decided to buy Final Fantasy 7 on Steam today, with the sale going on. I installed it, and it launched properly. However, when I launch it, it gets to the "Keyboard" popup, and freezes. The popup flickers a bit, and I can occasionally see the "New game" menu behind it, but I can't put in any button inputs. My computer sucks, so it could just be that, but I was hoping there'd be some way to fix it. I really don't know anything about my computer, it's an old one my dad found laying around his office that he gave to me. I can't do anything with admin stuff as far as I know, either. Anyone know some way I can fix this?

Shulk 8,623 Posted November 29, 2013 Never used STream, don't trust it. Uh... Why not? It's the most used online gaming platform out there, and there's nothing to not trust about it. I've used it for almost two years now, and I've enjoyed using it. There's nothing wrong with it. What did this post even have to do with the question in the first place? 1 Snow reacted to this
RoxSox 3,593 Posted November 29, 2013 Shoulda got in on PlayStation like a normal human being. I kid, I kid. In all seriousness, I have no idea what to tell you there. I guess uninstall it and reinstall it and see how that works.
MasterXemnas 2,285 Posted November 29, 2013 Fool. I suggest opening up your task manager and seeing how much activity it takes for the game when it opens.
Shulk 8,623 Posted November 29, 2013 It's working now, I just had to mess around with some settings. Thanks for the suggestions, though!

Steam never got me any attention. I also don't buy games for the PC anymore. I simply get them. The only games I buy are for the PS3, I want to trust the PSN , but my parents are boring.....
