This RP is for OCs (original characters). And it's not KH based, sorry. :<

It's my first attempt at starting something like this; and it's fairly daunting on a board so jam-packed with KH roleplays. I'm really hoping this doesn't get shot down instantly.

 

[ -- First off;

 

A few basic ground rules before I even start to get into what this is about.

[align=right]Please, PLEASE try to keep your spelling and grammar in check. Paste it in Word or something if needbe, just make sure that people can actually read it without a headache. A typo every here and there is no problem- barely spelling a single word right is. Sorry, but it seriously bothers me. I've had years of English teachers slamming grammar and spelling rules into my head, and now any kind of icky writing just... grates. Although I'm a hypocrite and do tend to start sentences with "And". It's not much of a grammar rule, anyway- basic stuff like forgetting full stops and paragraphing is what is just irritating.

 

One liners are to be used sparingly here, too. Short replies to long posts are kind of heartless. Even if all you can do is "Soandso jumped in the elevator along with Beezlebub", at least try and stretch it all beyond just one line. Like, if you're stuck with a one-liner response... how are they feeeeeeeeeling? What are they thinking?

 

Also, no serious God-modding or killing other characters unless you ask permission and they THEN ACTUALLY SAY YES. I've been in roleplays before where someone has asked another person of they can kill their character, has had a no in response, and then killed them off anyway. Gah.[/align]

 

[ -- The Concept;

 

There are monsters in the streets, the stores, everywhere. But they're not rampaging around, killing and causing havoc. In fact, they are relatively accepted. Evolution and mutation has caused the human race to have to grudgingly make way for their new equals. A lot of hatred still exists for the non-humans, and more for the half breeds. So much that scientists studying them have noticed how hard it is for those of us not entirely human, growing up and living around such prejudice. So a small group of them set up a camp, so to say, a sanctuary for the younger generations. And so, they brought in the kids that had been victimised or targeted, asking parents of such creatures to send their kids in, so they could have somewhere to live where they WEREN'T just freaks. Where they could be themselves. Not a lot of them were willing to stay, however... Once you're sent there, you need your parent's consent to leave until you're twenty. And not everyone feels like holding hands and staying in with the den of monsters.

Name: Sebastian Parry

Age: 14

What Are You?: Half-breed; part human, part wolf. (Note: NOT a werewolf. Doesn't transform or the like.)

Appearence:

 

Short, brunet and sweet, Sebastian is no macho man at first glance- though he does have a bit of a strength boost thanks to his wolf half. He seems to have gotten lucky- pointed teeth, a tail and ears seem to be the only alterations he has compared to a normal human. He could easily pass off as one, actually, were it not for his mannerisms. Uhm, pretend the tail on the image ISN'T a cat's one... (slight fail there)

 

Past: Sebby was abandoned, left in an orphanage by his mother, who was human and mortified at what he was. He grew up there, ignorant to how the kids isolated him there, although endlessly curious about other people. The owners of the orphanage were at a loss as to what to do with him- it wasn't like anyone would adopt him, he was a half-breed, after all- and when they learned about the camp, he was sent off the next day, without any warning.

What Are You?: Half-breed. (Half human, half rabbit.)

Appearence: Appearance. It's not a hoodie, though-- It's her actual fur. Her bangs are still brown, however.

Past: The White Rabbit didn't have a special life. She just shared the same story with many others like her. However, hers was so heptic that at birth, she wasn't given a proper name. She was given the name of the color of her fur. Like strays, she and her sisters were separated from their parents. Eventually, the White Rabbit parted ways with her pact. Then, everything went black. When she woke up, she was at the camp...

Name: Marielle

Age: 15

What Are You?: demon (I'm so out of creativity today T.T)

Appearence:

Past: She isn't a halfbreed but grew up in a family of humans, because her parents died when she was very young so she was left in that house by her older brothers, no one really liked her and took all the chances of making somekind of stupid joke about her. Not even the family where she grew up accepted her. When her family asked if she wanted to go to the camp she accepted happy to have a chance to leave.

 

Finally a RP that isn't KH related.

Appearance

 

 

Andromeda has genes of a black cat inside her. This has affected her personality, turning her from a cheerful blonde into a dark-haired, mysterious individual. She possesses the main traits of a feline; pointy ears, a soft tail and sharp canine teeth. Andromeda has to cut her nails every week to make them seem like normal human nails - when grown too long, they are as sharp and thick as a cat's. She is incredibly graceful and agile in her movements, a normal human not able to hear her steps (but of course this silent way of moving is no use at a camp full of sensitive ears). Her eyes are green and have the ability to see in the dark, yet they are hidden behind thick bangs of black hair most of the time.

 

Past

Andromeda's past wasn't as tragic as one would think; her parents were half-breed just like her, treating her kindly and never letting her down. Meda's troubles started in school, when she noticed that most of her classmates were "normal"; no cat ears, no sharp teeth, no tail. No, no-one bullied her or anything - she was actually somewhat popular. Yet, she felt too different. As if she didn't fit into the community. On top of all that, her sister was lucky enough to get no feline genes; she was 100-percent human. This saddened Meda to no end; she became quiet and cold, believing that no-one would want to talk to her because of her dissimilarity. And no-one did; she pushed everyone away with her behaviour, supposing it was due to her monstrosity. Andromeda's parents noticed the change of personality, trying to cheer her up by sending her to a camp meant for similar individuals, hoping that their daughter would realize she wasn't the only one.

I'm gonna give the go ahead to start off... maybe tomorrow morning, in case anyone else wants to join. I have to go out soon, so I wouldn't want to start posting, get a reply and then just disappear all of a sudden. When we DO get going, people can still join at any time, if they want. And when I do suddenly announce "okay, I'm up for kicking things off now", I'll put up the sheet for my second character. It's a weird habit, but in RPs I'm kind of always posting for two characters at once. Never any more than that. If anyone else feels like having more than one, feel free.

Name: Durante "Dur" Ozerlious Fritz

Age: 12 but has the appearence of an 18 year old.

What Are You?: Caliest'e- a human of the expermentation kind.

Past: not much is really known, other then that once innocent youth, grew pretty cold harded. He rarly talks to anyone. Its very hard for him to open up, as his family was one of the wealthiest in the world at one time,but since these "things" came up. THe family wanted to protect their foturian. To do this, Dur's parents injected him with an excerated growth formula, that was to alter his DNA. He was in pain and slowly began to look not very...human....for this as 'punishment' his parents abandom him at the camp. He was there to stay,confuse and scared,he dispises his parents, and has trusting issues.

I agree with Kuroishii. Finally a serious and decent rp. This is what it should be like.

 

Name: Adrienne Embry

Age: 15

What Are You?: Half Breed (part human, part fox)

Appearence:

 

 

Adrienne is usually unseen by all, prefering to be on her own, but in the presence of someone else, it's obvious she has genes of a fox. She has

fox ears and a tail but that is all. The rest of her is human. She gets along with most people and overall she acts like a regurlar human.

 

Past:

Her mother died right after giving birth to Adrienne. She lived with her father, who abused her because he couldn't accept what she was and blamed her for his wife's death, until the age of 10 where she went to live with her aunt who was a half breed. She attended school like everyone else but was an outcast because she was different. In time she became cold and uncaring, the opposite of what she was when she was younger.

She wasn't happy and her aunt knew that. When they learned about the camp, Adrienne was almost eager to go. So she didn't have to be an outcast. So she can be with others like her. So her aunt sent her of to the camp.

Pffffft, it's about time someone made a non-KH related RP.

 

Name: Ron (no last name; just Ron. )

 

Age: 14

 

What are you: A bakeneko. So, basically, a cat-demon hybrid thing.

 

Appearance: Like this except with dirty blond hair

 

Past: Ron was originally a normal cat living in Osaka with his owner, a Polish author named Anna, but when he turned 14, he became a bakeneko.

After becoming a bakeneko, he shape-shifted into a human and explained what had happened to Anna. She was skeptical, but decided to keep him anyways. When Ron found out about the camp, he decided to go, hoping that he could learn more about what he was. (Meh...I know it's kind of generic and stupid, but it's morning, and I'm still half asleep. -w-)

 

Personality (even though this isn't part of it, I wanted to add this in anyways): Ron originally appears sweet-tempered and kind. When he is angered however, his true nature as a bakeneko is shown. (God help anyone who gets in his way. XDDDD)

Okay! Green flag's out, so feel free to start from now. I'll make a post in a minute, after my second character sheet... I'm counting them as one character, as they are very co-dependant and literally won't leave each others' sides.

 

Name: Zack & Zane Raines (Last names are hard to think up! DDD: -murders Cid Raines for lurking in my brain- Oh... Haha, Zane Raines kind of rhymes. Oh well!)

 

Age: 16

 

What are you: Part demon, part something else entirely. They don't know.

 

Appearance:

Zane is on the right, Zack on the left. I originally wanted them to be totally identical. But boy twins seem to be barely used in anime. At least according to photobucket. Kaoru and Hikaru were a no-no because I would instantly get it in my head Zane and Zack were twincestuous, which would be... awkward. Zero and Ichiru looked too white and pure in all the photobucket images I could find at short notice. Oh, well. Gives Zane a bit of individuality, if he's dyed it to look different. (Still clinging onto the identical twins. :<)

Past: Zane and Zack were changelings- swapped for a pair of human twins. Their true origins are unknown- all anyone can figure out, including the twins themselves, is that they have demon genes, mixed with... well, that's the tricky part. Their unwitting parents tried to bring up the twins as their own, but they always were that little bit frightened of the boys, who were both just... not right. There was something off about them. They discovered that they were changelings when their parents were told; before that, they had just thought they were different. Because of the parental consent rule, Zane and Zack aren't able to leave the camp for another four years. Their parents freaked out, and because of their fear of the "monsters", arranged for the twins to be picked up and taken to the camp. They are currently desperately trying to find their real children... abandoning the ones they already had. Fear really can change people.

 

When they were outside the camp, the twins tried to be as different as possible, never spending much time together once they hit their teen years. Zane even tried to change his appearence, so people could tell them apart. When they arrived at the camp, that quickly changed- Zack refusing to leave his brother's side, and Zane, although the more outgoing and independent twin, becoming overprotective regarding Zack.

"I'm NOT doing that camp morale-building crap. I mean, come on, a hike?!" Zane complained loudly, stomping back and forth. His twin had sat down against one of the trees, watching him, ten minutes earlier when Zane's rant first started. Zack was lounging there, clearly bored out of his mind- after all, Zane just kept repeating the same things, over and over. He was getting himself het up over nothing.

 

Zack finally interrupted his younger brother's tirade. "The wolves and the outdoorsy types'll probably enjoy it," he pointed out. Zane just sighed, moodily rolling his eyes. Oh, yeah, sure, Zack, let's all be pals, huh? Just hold hands and sing friggin' kum-by-ya or whatever with the real freaks. There wasn't much point in Zane trying to just think something, though- after all, it slipped out pretty soon after he resumed ranting.

 

Sebby sat happily up in the tree, knowing neither of the twins knew he was there. Sure, wolves weren't SUPPOSED to climb trees. Humans weren't that good at it. But he seemed to have had enough upper body strength just to jump up and haul himself up there. Sebastian just watched, curious; he loved observing the camp from afar. He just simply found it so interesting how different everyone was, going about their ways... Plus, watching them made him feel like he was like James Bond, keeping an eye on everything. It was early morning, and he was starting to get hungry; however, the canteen was over near the shacks where they all slept; and getting down would mean the two human-looking boys below him would realise he'd been spying on them. And Sebby didn't like trouble. Well, not on an empty stomach.

Name: Kyoku Neoka

Age: 16

What Are You?: Half Breed- Part human, part hawk

Kyoku walked around. He's wings were concealed within the splits in his back. "Its so boring here. Maybe I should liven things up. But how?" Koku thought aloud. He flew up to a tree and sat there, wondering how he could either make this place more fun for everyone, or at least for himself. Seeing two twins and a half wolf human thing, he decided to play a prank on either one.

Marielle (seriously where did I take that name from?) was walking through the camps, the thing that she hated the most was following orders and she needed to do that all the time, another thing that annoyed her was the fact that she would just stay bored when there weren't any activityes for them to do, with some thoughts on her mind she walked through the camp without paying attention to anything.

The White Rabbit would normally lay on the ground and draw in her sketch book. However, at the moment, she had no idea what to draw. Therefore, she began drawing a big circle, She kept tracing over it over and over again until it seemed that she cut out a perfect circle with her pencil.

Kyoku searched in his pockets for a lighter. After about thirty secomds he came to the conclusion he didn't have one. His plan was to light one of his feathers that fell on the ground on fire and try to manipulte the fire around someone.

"Ah well, guess I'll have to do something else." Kyoku said, jumping off the branch he was on and flew around. He saw the White Rabbit and his stomach grumbled loudly.

"Shut up." he said aloud landing next to the White Rabbit quietly.

As her right ear twitched, the White Rabbit looked up at her visitor. "Hello," she said simply before looking back down at her sketch book. She took a red crayon and began drawing another circle in the circle.

"Your so bored that your drawing circles?" Kyoku said dismissing his wings. His hawk insticts took over for half a second and his stomach growled louder and longer. Doing his best to ignore it Kyoku yook out a white piece of paper and folded it three times. Kyoku then took out a pen and drew a sketch of the White Rabbit's face, dropped the paper on the ground and flied away to a different tree than before.

ryo was walking around with his hands in his bunny hugs pocket, then after for walking for 5-10 minutes, he pulled out a smoke and a lighter, then liten the smoke up and started to smoke while putting the lighter away and started to walk again

"Yes," the White Rabbit replied before the hawk-like creature ran off. She merely shrugged it off as she finished coloring in the red circle. "These are the nice people," she labelled the circle as she picked up a violet crayon.

"I have to find something to do." Marielle said when she saw the werewolf walking around "Siunds like fun>" she said as she approached him.

ryo took another puff while walking then turned his head to notice a demon walking next to him

"I'm Marielle, what about you?" she said with her cold voice stoping next to the werewolf.

ryo stoped and said peacefuly

Adrienne Embry wandered the camp mindlessly. She was searching for someone similar to her. Someone part fox. Or something related to fox, but so far she had no luck.

She shought coming to the camp would be a good thing. She knew her aunt was skeptical and maybe she had been right but it was too late to turn back now.

She sat under a shady tree and sighed, hoping maybe she'll meet someone like herself.
