Have you ever wanted to change forms?
There is a new type of darkness....rising over Japan.
How can you help your own country?
You didn't know how...until you discovered you can change forms.
Will you use this power to create peace and light again?
Or...will you fall into the corruption and darkness?

A dark force has threatened Japan. This force takes the form of possessing people. Not just simple people on the streets....people you know. One of your family members, your principal, et cetera. 
You just recently found out your new ability to change forms. How will you use it?

Let us begin, shall we?

 

Akai hadn't told a soul about what she had become. She has tried avoiding the fact she did change forms one night. She was on her way back home, school was over. She was alone for now, but Akai thought about getting some ice cream or something. Maybe go to some book store. She had nothing else to do.

 

(Basically, everyone is on their way back from school. Things will get hectic when it comes to be nighttime.)

T.K. just simply looked at the two. "Yes, I have a sister. But I also have a job. I am a guardian of the world, me being the current guardian of wisdom. I know all that I need to know. I know you are in trouble no matter if you can change forms or not. And as for your mom here, I will have to refuse your wishes and protect Akai, for she is a special person, who hasn't fully realize it yet." T.K. said. He then slashed at the mother with his metal claws.

April smiled at Trevor. "You truly are a special person. Who have a powerful gift. But you are going to have to calm down and tame your transformation. If you don't tame it, you might hurt yourself or others." April said.

"THOSE FILTH-I SHOULD-" No, he had to calm down. He took breaths, and looked at the girl. "What am I? And what am I supposed to do?"

"Leave me alone or you're going to end up getting hurt by me! There is no 'guardian of the world' OR 'guardian of wisdom'!" Akai snapped, pointing her sword at T.K.

Akai's mother wield several kitchen nights, them covered in darkness. She then threw them at T.K. 

"This is my mother, so if she is trying to kill me because she is POSSESSED. Then I should be able to fight her! NOT YOU!" Akai yelled.

April looked at him. "Well that depends. You could become one of the most powerful warriors and fight the darkness, but you could also become one with the darkness. You could even become like me and become a guardian of the world. You are special, no matter what you would like to call yourself." April said.

 

T.K. dodge rolled over to the right to dodge the knifes. "One, I am not afraid of a simple girl like you, I am not even afraid of the woman with the knifes. And I truly am a guardian, if I wasn't then how would I have known that you were in danger? And you can fight, but you also need someone to help you, that I know." T.K. said. He then transformed into his lion form. He then let out a powerful roar attack and then slashed at the mother.

"Fine." He looked at his ex-living girlfriend. "Can I hang with you? I think whatever's after me wants me, so I'll guess they're at my house. And if there are others..." He looked around. "And I do look a it like a world guardian, I figure!" Looking at the wings, they flapped a bit.

(Okay, I will get myself on track.)

 

Ferro had been walking through the streets, eating an apple. He had gotten his braces off before the family cruise, and so relished his ability to eat the unsliced apple. He soon finished the apple and finished his walk. He went into the shabby building where his apartment was (he paid rent using stolen money). Ferro opened the door to his apartment. "Danny! I'm back!" Danny shared the apartment with Ferro, since the owner was stupid. Danny had learned to stay out of Ferro's way. Nevertheless, they had formed a relationship after a time. "Danny?" Ferro said when he got no response. The apartment was mostly dark. Ferro shrugged. He had no need of the lights. As he walked past the kitchen, he thought a glint. A metallic, moving glint. A knife glint. Ferro ducked as the blade impaled the wall where is head was a moment before.

Akai's tail flicked behind her. Her mother only screamed. Akai didn't seem to care though. However, she was upset, confused, and furious. 

Soon enough, Akai's mother fell silent. Akai looked at T.K.

"There...you've done your job..." she muttered. 

April looked at him. "Sure, you can hang with me. Just don't get any funny ideas, because I think your girlfriend would be mad and my brother would kill you." April said with a smile. "Have you noticed the big fancy house on the hill? That is where we are going, it is a safe house from the darkness." April said.

T.K. looked at her still in lion mode. "Okay, I can see that you really don't like me. But why are you so hateful towards people who try and help save you?" T.K. asked her as he transformed back to normal.

He looked at his girlfriend. He picked her up. "Can we fix her?" His wings started to flap, causing him to hover. Once he was in the air, he cried silently. He couldn't feel her pulse.

 

Whatever this darkness was, he was going to eradicate it. All if it. He began to fly to the house.

April flew after him. "We can save her, if we can defeat the darkness. And you must truly love her, cause that is the only way you could save her life." April said.

"Yea..." He saw the house, and landed. "She died." He sat down, and looked at her.

April looked at him. "Sure, you can hang with me. Just don't get any funny ideas, because I think your girlfriend would be mad and my brother would kill you." April said with a smile. Akai looked away from T.K.

"I don't need anyone to save me or help me! I can do stuff by myself!" she yelled. 

T.K. rolled his eyes. "You are just saying that because you have some reason that makes you so cold and alone. Look, I may have just met you, but I know that you aren't strong enough to face what is about to happen on your own, and you are going to need help. That is the truth. I mean do you even have any friends? Cause I bet you that your mother secretly wishes for you to have friends and fall in love one day. That at least was one of the last wishes that my mother had before she died." T.K. said as he sat down and started to form a tear in his eye.

 

 

April sat down with Trevor. "Trevor, I am so sorry. She wouldn't have died if it wasn't for me. She would have survived the darkness, but there are just some people who could not be set free from the darkness. You probably have lived a normal life until I showed up today." April said.

He held back his rage. "What's done is done." He loved Aya since he was a child. Now her last moments weren't even hers. "We dig a grave tomorrow."

"I lean how to kill them now."

April smiled as she placed a hand on Trevor's shoulder. "You, you already know how to fight. You only have to feel the power inside of you, become one with it, and you will just know how to fight. Your powers are there to help you with all of that. Let your powers loose on your enemies and you will just not even have to think about fighting. But the main thing you need to control is your anger and transformation." April said with a sweet smile.

As quickly as the knife embedded in the wall, Ferro was undergoing a change. His head elongated, his torso shrunk, his arms and legs split in half and became eight long tentacles. He turned a translucent grey color, phosphoring softly in the darkness. His eyes pierced the dark veil in the kitchen and saw Danny crouching on the ground, foaming at the mouth, a second knife clutched in his hand. Before the possessed man could throw it, however, the great grey octopus lashed out with a tentacle. Danny snarled as the paralyzing poison took hold, his muscles seizing up. The octopod flowed over him, and delivered a swift bite to his neck with the beak concealed beneath the tentacles. The neck snapped and Danny was still. Ferro transformed back in a second, went into his room, and grabbed his bag. He kept all his things in there so he could leave at a moment's notice. Ferro left the corpse in the kitchen and left the apartment, left the building. He took to the street.

 

(Now I am caught up. People on the street can interact with me.)

He smiled. "Okay then. Let's work on those." Anything to take the mind off today.

Then he noticed a girl that was looking at a couple of friends.One of them seem that was stuck with despair."Hey,um..Do you know what's going on with them?"He politely asked her.Maybe he wasn't the only one seeing these things

Akoni glanced at Minato who had just entered the conversation. "Funny, we seem to be attracting a lot of attention, I wonder what it all means..."Eliza had kept an eye on Minato, making sure he didn't do anything stupid like try to figure out who she is. Unfortunately he drew the conclusion and figured out her identity."Darn, now I have to kill him." She said to herself. "And I was starting to like him." She witnessed the attack on Minato and watch him struggle, then leave to find help. "Hm," Eliza began "It seems my sources were correct. Looks like I don't need to kill him, they'll do it for me. It has begun."

April smiled. "And, just so you know, your girlfriend really was lucky to have a great guy like you who cares for others." April said with a smile. She then got up and walked over to a nearby tree. "This is your first assignment. You are to take out this tree using only your powers and abilities. And this is not an ordinary tree, this tree is made of iron." April said.

"Ok..." He concentrated. Brute force, nor steel feather would knock it down. "What am I supposed to do...?"

"Focus your pain. Remember every bad moment in your life, and focus it into attacking. Feel your pain, and you will feel power." April said.

He focused. All the anger, hate, and sorrow. The disappointment. The loss. He almost teared up. He felt a surge of energy and power. He realized, and blew away the tree.

"The police are still investigating, but it is believed that the murder was committed by those within the police force itself, or privy to it's information. The motive is unknown, though Watanabe was known to have many enemies. Investigation ongoing."

 

The TV then flashed from the reporter to a picture of him. Watanabe, the crime boss who was just about to get off scott-free. His face infuriated Kai, even after his death. All the people he killed and the innocents he hurt... despicable. With the temporary suspension that Kai was on since the investigation began he could only sit home and watch the investigation from afar. He wasn't being seriously considered, so it didn't matter. They'd never know that he did it. He was right to do it. The world was better with that monster dead. Kai turned off the TV and got up, moving toward the kitchen. That was when the phone rang.

 

"Yep?"

 

"Kai!"

 

"... oh."

 

"C'mon Kai, don't sound so disappointed."

 

"No...no, Ayase, it isn't that. It's just... It's good to hear your voice."

 

He sat down. Kai had only a few closer relationships in his life. His sister Ayase was one of them, and they spoke too rarely for his tastes.

 

"I'm coming over!" Her voice was as overly-perky as ever.

 

"You're what?"

 

"Yeah! I'm headed over right now."

 

He nearly fell out of his chair.

 

"I'll- well, I've gotta straighten things up then."

 

"You're always so straight-laced, Kai, don't worry about it. I'll be there in a couple minutes."

 

Kai was rushing around his apartment, straightening chairs and tables. He was self-conscious about how his friends and family saw him. Very self-conscious. He forgot he was still on the phone.

 

"O-okay then, Ayase, see you here."

 

There was a silence. He could tell she was still on the phone but she wasn't saying anything.

 

"Ayase...?"

 

This wasn't like her. She was always happy, always the one to talk first in conversations. She was sensible and smart, but she did enjoy staying involved in everything, including conversations. Finally she answered.

 

"Hey Kai... everything burns right?"

 

"I-"

 

She hung up. Kai stood frozen. Something was off. He tried to shake it off. It was fine, just a random question, just something a bit strange. Nothing to  worry about.

 

She would be here in a few minutes and everything would seem normal again.

April smiled. "That's the ticket. Now, how about a break? I would really like to get to know you better so I know how to help you." April said with a smile.

"Ok." He smiles. He needs the reprieve. Someone to talk to wouldn't hurt. He folded his wings and went inside.
