Drawing Series : Countries ' most important people .

Posted

So , this is actually a "drawing series" of mine that I call :Countries ' most important people . It's about drawings  that show some "cartoon versions" of people that offered a lot in their countries . Some might not have though .(dictators etc.) .

First country : Russia .

I always found Russia's modern history(1800-1990) really interesting . And that's why I drew this picture . So here's what it shows : Vladimir Lenin (left), a "man of revolution" who did and got involved in many revolutions that offered a lot to his country (for example,February Revolution - The April These) .Grigori Rasputin (right top),a monk who was said to have healing powers and was also said to have done miracles (He got involved in Russia's politics and the Tsar . He tried to stop him from going to war with Germany in World War I).Mikhail Gorbachev (right bottom) ,an important politician and (first and last) president of the Soviet Union (Contributed to the end of the Cold War ,with the help of the USA president Ronald Reagan while putting an end to the "Soviet Union -CPSU" . He is also famous for his head birth-mark ).Joseph Stalin (middle) ,successor of Vladimir Lenin , was a dictator from Georgia who lead Russia to victory against Adolf Hitler and led the Soviet Union in the Cold War .

Tell me what you guys think about it . If you liked it , you might as well go ahead and make a request for a country that you like . Well if you don't (which is probably gonna be the case ) , just ....I don't know .But ,yeah , all in all , it's nothing special (Honesty is also a virtue).

I don't know that Rasputin is on the same level of importance as some of the other guys, simply in terms of how they affected the country as a whole. Interesting that you chose to focus on the Soviet Union first. Would you consider doing a few of Russia's earlier members of importance? (Peter the Great, Ivan the Terrible, Catherine the Great, Alexander 1st)

Well ,yes ,I forgot to refer to Rasputin . Rasputin is not like really important as the others as he was a mostly crazy and mad monk but still ...I have already considered your idea and ,yes, I will draw some earlier people of importance from Russia .
