It didnt bother me, it was a very slight learning curve, but yes they will change it. In Japan O is the equivalent to X on PlayStation.. So every Japanese version of every KH game released on PS has this..

Jumping with X is just a Japan thing. Many games over there have circle as the main button, used to confirm things and such. I doubt we will use X.

Probably, if you knew which files to manipulate. Someone did this with the JP FFX/X-2 remaster after they found out the disc had all English content (minus audio) and promptly patched it up. If you don't, then don't bother and just get used to it.

 

If you're using an emulator, you can switch the "circle" and "cross" settings with each other in the controller settings menu.

My question is if they will voice the Final Mix exclusive scenes in both Kingdom Hearts 2 and Birth by Sleep because they have them voiced Japaneses so it would be fair hopefully. and I'm sure when it comes out as 2.5 it will be circle to jump and x to attack like always.

Honestly, the X and O switch up isn't a problem. It's quick to get used to and you can easily switch back to the English Gameplay with the English Versions to come.

They have to do it, unlike 1.5. It wasn't fair that we couldn't hear some cutscenes. Hopefully this will be different...

It "wasn't fair?" Putting forward the effort to voice those cutscenes would be unnecessary work. They don't "have to do it," since this is just an HD Collection. And the Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix exclusive cutscenes were not voiced.
