Okay... I need help here, this thing is really annoying me. it has been a month now and i still cant beat her face. she is so hard, damn hard.

for all Final Fantasy players, esp. the ones that played FF8 and finished it, i need your help and advice for the final boss "Ultimecia".

 

the annoying part is that i cant draw any good things anymore, because i am in disc 4, so.... its too late. i need to find another solution, i hope i get some good answers. I NEED AN EXPERT TO HELP ME WITH THIS

I used Rinoa's special a lot, and tactics of defense and waited out a lot. I know a lot was based on chance at times, but then again I was on a low level when fighting her.

 

This was 8-9 years ago, so bear with me.

you should make a list of the rules I actually want to know what they are

First thing first! spam Aura on everyone. theres also a move that destroys the ememys defense. use it at the same time. also she will hit you with status ailments. cure them when they happen. junction your stats appropriately. leveling up doesn't really do much in this game. 78% of your growth comes from whether or not you had your STR bonus and DEF bonus and SPT bonus juntctioned  when you leveled up. if you didn't do that your screwed

If good Drawing is in short supply, I guess you've never visited the Island Closest to Heaven or the Island Closest to Hell.  There are hidden draw points all around the edges of both islands with powerful magic (Flare, Ultima, etc).  Granted, you have to deal with level 100 enemies (which, if I recall, stay that way regardless of your characters' levels), but if you have Enc None or make gratuitous use of running, there ya go.

I know you can leave the castle right? There's still some sidequests that can be done on disc 4.

 

As for Ultimicia,use Cerberus ASAP so that everybody can Triple magic,put Shell and Protect on everybody and use Aura and it should be fine
