Journal Skylinn:

It's one year ago when humans started to appear in Dawn. I didn't really had problems with them. But because of the war it's difficult to keep them safe. A week ago I let some of the humans join my army. Vanissa is probably doing the same now.

Humans are strong. When they entered our world they received an ability that can help them. But the war isn't over yet. We have to protect the walls!

You joined your army one week ago. And some basic trainings are over. Now it's your time to do your duty in the war. Or meet the other people in your army. Be ready for any attack. Don't let your guard down.

Vanissa was walking through the streets of Retria. She looked to the sky and also to the invisible walls. It's going to be hard to break them. But her army got way stronger than before. These humans were pretty useful. But there was something that bothered her as well. How did they got here? And why? Was it destiny? Or just bad luck? Vanissa didn't really talk very much to one of the humans. She really had to do it someday.

Demona opened her eyes and looked around noticing ekindu still under water. Se swam down and grabbed his hand trying to swim to the surface quickly. " god dang how much do you weigh ekindu" she thought as she finally surfaced. Demona dragged him onto the shore and took a deep breathe.

"Such strength…" Ekidnu coughed. He looked at his clothes... Now ruined by water. "Great…" he muttered.

Demona looked over at ekindu and sighed. " you weigh a ton just so you know" she whispered standing up and ringing out her hoodie. She grabbed his hand yanked him to his feet before looking at the window. " hey James you know anywhere we can go" she asked/yelled.

James looked down at them. "The Dark Woods, a place that is on the other side of here. No one ever goes there, it would be the perfect hideout." James said with a smile.

Demona frowned and looked at james. " I don't think we should be near eachorher I mean what ruby said is true one if us will end up dead" she yelled. Since she didn't know ekindu's side de didn't worry to much but still didn't want him getting hurt. " ekindu it'd be best if you web your separate way too" she mumbled.

James looked at Demona. "I am not leaving you. I don't care how much danger I get in. I will always be with you to protect you, I don't want to leave you. We can take on the world if we have to, I know we can." James said coming down to where Demona was.

"I'm staying as well..." Ekidnu said, looking at Demona. "B-Because I feel like it! Nothing more!" He hid a blush. This girl saved his life... A debt was in order.

She sighed and nodded. " fine fine " she mumbled cracking a small smile. She lightly pinched ekindu's cheek and smiled more already noticing the blush.

James went over to two towels, one for each of them. He threw one towel at Ekindu. He then wrapped the other one around Demona. "So see, we are all in this together." James said with a smile. He then whispered in Ekindu's ear. "Don't get any funny business, I saw her first." James said in a serious tone.

"If you believe that you saw her first means that you automatically receive her," Ekidnu whispered back. "Then you are more primal and disgusting than I thought…" he wrapped himself in the towel.

Demona gave then a questioning look and sighed. " whatcha whispering about over there you two" she asked snuggling into the towel. She looked them over and slightly giggled. " are you two fighting over who leads the way" demona asked secretly having a feeling about what they were truly fighting about.

James blushed for a second and then looked with a serious look. "I will lead the way, I know all the short cuts. And that may include us being engulfed in flames." James said with a small laugh. He then whispered into Ekindu's ear. "Come on, man. I kinda already have a thing going on with her. And let's not forget, I never attacked her, unlike someone." James whispered to Ekindu.

"Of course n-" Ekidnu stopped mid sentence. "I mean, exactly!" He blushed again.

Demona sighed and grabbed their eyes yanking them down to her height. " come now boys I want to know the truth what's up with you two " she said smile fading quickly. She let them go and tapped her foot impatiently glancing from james to ekindu the back. " and dont start fighting" demona said impatiently.

"It wouldn't be a fight..." Ekidnu said.

James blushed. "Well....you see......" James said nervously.

Demona looked at james waiting for him to continue. " well what" she asked wrapping the towel around her tighter.

James stared at her. "We were arguing over you. I like you, and Ekindu does too. But unlike him, I have treated you the best I could. I never let or will let you come to harm, unlike the dude who attacked us." James said blushing.

Demona blushed a scset red and quickly ran off. " oh god why do you hate me" she whispered running deeper into the forest. After a few minutes of running she found slightly shorter tree and climbed into it. " there's no way " she whispered watching the path she came from.

Suddenly, a flame appeared behind Demona. "I didn't mean to frighten you. I just told you the truth. My mother made me promise to always tell the truth, and so I had no other choice but to tell you. I am sorry. But I really do like you, that part is so very true, even if you don't like me for it." the flame said as it appeared that James was talking through it like a walkie talkie.

"Hmph," Ekidnu said. "D-do what you want…" Ekidnu said.

Demona sighed and looked at the wall. " I not going back" se said crossing her arms. Demona thought back to why he said seconds ago and growled. " Im not scared okay so don't say that" demona growled.

James went over and slapped Ekindu. "You see what you have done, your majesty? You couldn't have let me just stay the player that I am. But no, you had to argue with me on who loves Demona more. It doesn't matter, Demona is a sweet and spicy favor of a girl who we are lucky to have even met. She deserves friends, more than she needs a boyfriend." James said. He then talked through the flame. "Demona, I promised you that I would find a way to get you home. And no matter what, I always keep my promises. I will stop hitting on you and treat you like a friend if that is the only way to get you home." James said.

"There was no argument..." Ekidnu said. "You and your overinflated machismo ego turned it into one, and I'll be damned if you make me out to be a villain!" He grabbed him by the shirt, and punched James. "Let's fight... Since You seem to want to so bad!" Electricity went through the hands of Ekidnu, shocking James with volts.

The preamble for fight music drifted around Ekidnu and James. The source stepped into view in the form of a girl with an electric guitar. She strummed at the guitar, but sounded more like a full orchestra.

"Sorry to butt in, but it sounds like you need this." Abby said, smiling politely.
