The level of maturity was not the issue for me. The specific aspects of the story confused me a bit. And the game was extremely difficult compared to the others I played. 

Haven't played it yet but I really want to. However, I don't want to be the original version yet incase they decide to remaster it. So really hope they do it soon.

Its a very simple story to follow, just maybe not for children.
