Why does everybody want a HD Remaster of Final Fantasy XII so much? I thought that majority of the fanbase hated that game because of its boring gameplay and story? It kinda makes me wonder why everone wants a HD remaster of it if people find it to be boring?

I want a FFVII remake on the Wii U, or at least a VC release. I haven't played that yet, and I prefer the Wii U over my other consoles.

Well,X-2 got the HD treatment and that game received universal hate by the fandom....so yeah

Well that's somewhat understandable because X-2 is a part of FFX's story no matter how bad it is. But Final Fantasy XII was just so boring to the point where most people couldn't finish the game. It was just as repetitive as 358/2 Days.

I didn't even know that Final Fantasy XII had fans, I thought it was universally hated. Easily the worst game I've ever had the displeasure of buying. I can't wait until I can sell it and finally be rid of it!

Because it's a game that hasn't been remastered in HD- if it had been we wouldn't be faced with such complaints

 

I personally don't know about XII nor really wish to

Although it was disliked (mostly at a fan point of view) it still had excellent RPG elements. The Battle system is preference and the characters were atleast better then in XIII. It was a decent RPG and it is more expected to spawn a Remaster rather then wanted.
