While making sure I am prepared for KH3, I came across some curious points that were either briskly answered or not covered at all. I didn't know if any of these questions are even worth pondering about, so any help would be appreciated!

Birth by Sleep

-We quickly learn that Xehanort is from Destiny Islands, but that's it. Unless Nomura makes Xehanort related to either Sora or Riku, is this really going to be an important factor?
-Where did Terra, Ventus, and Aqua come from? I mean, I don't want to know their family history, but they had to come from somewhere, were they taken?
-Why does Ven shrink to the size of a mouse in the Castle of Dreams?

Kingdom Hearts
-Where do Sora, Donald, & Goofy end up at the end? Is the grassy field part of a Disney world or Castle Oblivion?

Chain of Memories
-The memory tampering was due to Namine, but who enforced the card system: the Organization or Aqua? As fun as they are, it would seem odd for the Organization to put a handicap on themselves as well as Sora. But then, why would Aqua's magic "force" Donald & Goofy to take card form?

358/2 Days
-Roxas states many times that the first 7 days that he was alive are just a blur. In a game series that has gotten into the sticky habit of revealing every moment in time, are we really suppose to believe that NOTHING relevant happened during the first week of his life?
-In the original game, when Roxas goes to sleep for the first time, Xemnas cryptically says "So, sleep has taken you yet again" (which hints that he remembers Ventus somewhat), but the line is removed in the 1.5 movie. Does he NOT remember then?

Kingdom Hearts II
-Are the Organization Remnant battles that were added to Final Mix a hint towards something, or just there for more boss battles?
-So, that battle between Sora & Roxas... how was Roxas able to materialize.
-What exactly was Villain's Vale? I know that's where Pete hung out in this game, but what was it before?

Coded
-I know this is kind of game-breaking, but if Chip & Dale could "cheat" and give Data Sora a Keyblade early on, why not just boost all his stats to max as well? Certainly would've solved the mystery sooner.

Dream Drop Distance
-In the Country of the Musketeers, Mickey states that he is there to "work on a problem". Since these events took place before s%^& hit the fan, is the "problem" important to know?
-If the point of the exam was to wake the sleeping worlds, and Sora was technically the only one to do that, why doesn't he get the rank of Master again?
-The Dream Eater scene at the end was cute, but really, why did Sora go back to the Realm of Sleep at such a crucial moment?

OMFG...I ANSWERED ALL THESE QUESTIONS AND MY COMPUTER LAGGED AND IT PRESSED 'PASTE' OVER MY COPIED ANSWERS....HERE WE GO AGAIN...>: O

Birth by Sleep

-Only time will tell.

-It was never confirmed where they came from. It can only be assumed that Terra and Aqua grew up at Land of Departure their whole lives. Ven is a mystery for now.

-Why does Sora turn into a lion cub in the Pride Lands? Nomuralogic.

Kingdom Hearts

-It's part of Castle Oblivion's world.

Chain of Memories

-It was just put there to change the battle system up a bit, plus the GBA game wouldn't be able to handle such a complex system as KH1. I'm pretty sure they didn't even really know much of the story of BBS when they created CoM.

358/2 Days

-Yes. It even states that Roxas didn't even speak during his first week. If something important happened, we'd know by now.

-They were forced to remove some things, so no. The DS version is still completely canon. Or else they wouldn't have put it there in the first place.

Kingdom Hearts II

-They could be sort of like a foreshadowing to the 7vs13 battle in KH3. But otherwise, they're just there for fun.

-It was a data battle. In other words: Nomuralogic.

-I'm not entirely sure, but I believe it used to be just a normal town in Radient Garden before it became decrepit.

Coded

-Starting the game at lvl 99 and blasting through everything with no challenge? ...um.

Dream Drop Distance

-Not at all. The focus in KH3 is going to be completely on defeating Xehanort. DDD is in the past.

-Riku had to go back in and save him from dying. Sora couldn't escape the darkness that overcame him. Yen Sid thought only Riku truly deserved the title. That pretty much sums it up.

-He wanted to thank his dream eaters. It's the kind of person he is. He'd never ignore anyone. =p

King Mickey (lol) answered some questions, so I'll just go with some where I don't agree with the answer or have something to add cause I've got nothing better to do..

Birth by Sleep

"We quickly learn that Xehanort is from Destiny Islands, but that's it. Unless Nomura makes Xehanort related to either Sora or Riku, is this really going to be an important factor?"

Personally, I don't think it matters much. What else is there to know? He doesn't need to be related to Riku or Sora or both, either. DI is his homeworld, just like it's Riku's and Sora's. That's it.

Kingdom Hearts

"Where do Sora, Donald, & Goofy end up at the end? Is the grassy field part of a Disney world or Castle Oblivion?"

What King Mickey said and I'm going to assume that either Xehanort's attempt to destroy LoD didn't reach these parts of the world and/or Aqua's transformation of the castle into Castle Oblivion didn't affect them, because y'know CO is kind of shady and dark and I dunno, doesn't really fit with the grassy part lol

I made a thread about that. I'd go with what King Mickey said, but then the question is for me why THIS line of all things was removed. Especially if people didn't play the original, it would have been one of the more important lines to put in.

Everything else, I agree with or don't know better.

I'm guessing that maybe it was because it's kind of confusing. People who haven't played BbS wouldn't really know what it means, because to them, that's the first and only time it shows Roxas sleeping.

I get your point, but it's a bit late to care about those who haven't played a certain game in the series. I mean, Xion even appears as Ventus in front of Xigbar. If they didn't include the quote for the sake of avoiding confusion for those who haven't played BBS, they should have removed that scene for the same reason. Or am I wrong?

Hmm, I dunno. Nomura did say though that the main reason he's putting all games besides 3D onto one console is so that everyone who was unable to play a game will be able to now, as long as they have a PS3.

But I guess we'll never know the exact answer to this, unfortunately.

Will Pence reveal his true identity and use his awesome might to put the worlds back together into one- the biggest mystery of them all

Yeah, but I don't think that includes stuff like this, especially when they are contradicting themselves if they remove such a quote, but leave the scene with Xion as Ventus. And like I said that would be all the more reason to include something this important. I guess there is a different reason, I don't think they simply forgot about it.

But I agree with you, we will probably never learn what it really was. At least those who've played the original know that quote exists.

True. I think they kept that Xion-Ven thing in there because that's the only thing left that directly ties into BbS, especially since it was supposed to portray who Xigbar sees her as.
