Little known fact: The PlayStation 4 is the first device in the world to include DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1 Decoder.

 

The Xbox One currently has Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo sound....

    Is the difference between Dolby Digital and DTS-HD 7.1 noticeable at all through just regular TV speakers? Unfortunately, I don't have external speakers.

    Depends on the speakers. Modern TV speakers can easily notice the difference between 2.0 and 7.1
