Posted March 5, 201411 yr You say you know, your lips lie: you don't know the pain of centuries gone by. Night after night in endless darkness, watching loved ones pass one by one, eternal night, hidden from the sun. A cursed, tainted life. You say you know, but your lips lie: you understand nothing. Darkness ruled by creatures insidious, innocence tainted by lovers kiss, dark embraces in darkened rooms, seal your fate with just a touch. You say you understand, but your lips lie: you understand only the idea, not the pain, the daily strain, of the purge of all that was human in me. You come to me, in a lovers touch, but you understand nothing of the nightmare you caress, the demon you hold. You say you know of dark nights and rain, of neverending darkness, and blood's song. You lie: you understand nothing. Come to me, my love, let me touch your skin, lips touch you neck. One bite, and it's over: darkness overtakes you. You said you understood the darkness, the nightmare cursed: you lied. Edited March 5, 201411 yr by TheTimidLight
March 5, 201411 yr I like it- the dwarf king's plight is made very evident through this piece If only he could save up enough money for that townhouse, then he would stand taller than the sky itself
March 5, 201411 yr Author I like it, sounds almost like something dedicated to Pitch Black. It was about a vampire, but yeah: re reading it, it really does. Heh, cool.

March 5, 201411 yr Author My mistake, and it's good to speak to you again; haven't seen since the "Name Last User Above You" thread. No worries: I like how it has double meaning. And yeah, long time.
You say you know, your lips lie:
you don't know the pain of
centuries gone by.
Night after night in endless darkness,
watching loved ones pass one by one,
eternal night, hidden from the sun.
A cursed, tainted life.
You say you know, but your lips lie:
you understand nothing.
Darkness ruled by creatures insidious,
innocence tainted by lovers kiss,
dark embraces in darkened rooms,
seal your fate with just a touch.
You say you understand, but your lips lie:
you understand only the idea,
not the pain, the daily strain,
of the purge of all that was human in me.
You come to me, in a lovers touch,
but you understand nothing of the nightmare you caress,
the demon you hold.
You say you know of dark nights and rain,
of neverending darkness, and blood's song.
You lie: you understand nothing.
Come to me, my love,
let me touch your skin,
lips touch you neck.
One bite, and it's over:
darkness overtakes you.
You said you understood the darkness,
the nightmare cursed:
you lied.
