The buildings were being destroyed as people scream, and perish by a unknown attack. A young girl holding her newborn sister watch her parents die in front of there eyes. Claris then reopen her eyes from meditating gasping for air after seeing that horrible past that she, and her sister survive from. She, and her sister had been living in the earth temple of Claris' mentor ever since they were little, and is trying to learn her earthbending. She continue to gasp for air after seeing her dark vision of the past.

"O-ok sis..." She quickly ran inside and hid but peaked out through a window, "Please be careful!"

Suddenly, James was able to melt the ground keeping him down and escaped. He then ran and grabbed hold of Maria, and put his hand over her mouth. "One move there avatar, and your little sister dies. Or better yet, maybe I can make her my new little play toy." James said with a dark smile.

Sinead dropped down behind James and blasted him with her air, sending him and Maria flying. She followed up with a more directed blast of air to break James and Maria apart. The young air bender moved in between Maria and James, her body positioned in a defense stance.

"As much as I liked your spicy up my 'me time', you should really stop picking on people, bud." She growled.

Concealed from the fighters, a watcher planed and waited.

Claris shot fire out of her gunblade at James with her firebending. "Who are you?" Claris asked James.

"SIS!" Maria was shocked at what had happened a few seconds ago, she wanted to move but couldn't, she was too overwhelmed and shocked at what had happened.

James smiled as he dodged the attacks. "My name is James, and I hate you avatar. You being able to control all the elements and no one else? That is why we plan to kill you, so everyone can have the power to use every single type of bending. There is an uprising coming, and this time justice with prevail!!!" James said. He then casted two lines of steel and swung away from everyone.

"Boy was he noisy," Kito says loud enough for everyone to hear on a rooftop as he watched the action from above. He had been away from the Avatar from since she was a little kid and after many years, he had returned. Kito yawned as he watched the noisy boy swing away. "So he's part of that rebellion huh? Must be part of the chaos going on down in New Republic City," Kito sighed. He hadn't decided whether he wanted to join the group or chase the boy so he just sat where he was for a few.

Aerilyn managed to get away from the fight rather quickly, getting to her little house.

"What freaks..." She sighed on her way back.

"C-Claris.... What's happening?" She asked her sister, this all seemed to much to comprehend in her head
