Hey. I don't know if anyone would know about this, but a few of my friends and I are planning on making a machinima series for the new Super Smash Bros game when it comes out (For those who don't know, a machinima is basically a video series with an original plot using a game for the visuals and characters). We've got a few ideas for it, but we've hit a problem: We have no clue how to record it. We could make it something incredibly simple, like regular Smash Bros replays, but we want it to be more professional. We want to get more camera angles, and to make it look more cinematic and exciting. I'll include a video at the end of the post to show what we want it to be more like. We have ideas for both the Wii U and 3DS versions, but we just don't know how to make it look more professional. We don't want to hack our systems and risk anything bad happening to them, so we can't exactly do that. If anyone knows a good way to record videos like this on Wii U or 3DS, then we'd appreciate some help!

Basically, we're going for all of the different camera angles like this shows. Smash Bros replays are always at a fixed camera angle that shows the entire screen, which would make it really boring to watch.
