Hey guys, I've got some big news. Some good, some bad. But I'll start with the bad. I was informed via e-mail this morning that Tetsuya Nomura has resigned from working on the KH franchise to pursue other interests. After receiving the e-mail, I called Nomura up myself, to see if this was legit info. The conversation went something like this:"Hey fupface; this ish real?"
"I'm afraid so PillowHead, my old friend. I've come to realize that the Kingdom Hearts series no longer fulfills my creative desires.""But, dude, so many people have been looking forward to KH3. What are you gonna do now?""Well, I've signed up to design the latest Call of Duty, and pwn some n00bs online.""But who is supposed to continue KH?"At this point he laughed a bit and said,"Please wait a little longer, you'll receive some news soon." Then he hung up on me. Almost immediately after, I got a call from an unfamiliar number. Being the hardcore lumberjack that I am, I answered the phone. It was the staff of Square Enix, crying hysterically. By that point I knew.
That's right you guys, I am now going to be writing the rest of the KH franchise. However, I will have a different approach than Nomura, and I want to show the fanbase that I trust them. So, I will be taking all suggestions you give me, and I will try to put them in the remaining KH games. In addition, I have created a separate team to write and perform a KH Broadway show. (Hint: Robert Downey Jr. will be Sora)I know Nomura's resignation is disheartening, but don't worry, the future is bright.
