Naruto Uzumaki Chronicles 2, also known as Naruto Konoha Spirits in Japan, is the sequel of Naruto, Uzumaki Chronicles. Is it worth your while?
Let me say this now. Screw the original game, this game is much better. This sequel maintained the best things from the first game, and tuned it to the best. This is a great Beat 'Em Up game, let me tell you!
Story
This game's storyline is almost at the end of the original Naruto series, and it could be considered a filler arc. But of course, I'll put it in spoilers
The story's about the Shirogane Clan, that intents to revive the Puppet Master, a puppet with powers equal to a Bijuu, that's needed to revive their clan. In order to revive the Puppet Master, they need 5 Spirit Orbs, that have the spiritual power to revive it. The 5 Spirit Orbs were scattered troughout the 5 main countries, and the Shirogane Clan attacked several villlages, including the Sand Village in order to obtain them.
The 5th Hokage, Tsunade, sends Naruto to stop the Shirogane Clan's plans to revive the Puppet Master, but in the end, the Puppet Master was using the Shirogane Clan to revive itself, and destroy everything. Naruto, and his Konoha and Suna friends, were able to defeat the Puppet Master, and they were able to dispose of the Spirit Orbs.
Gameplay
This game is similiar to the first game, although it tuned up the controls. Most of the times, you have to defeat the enemies and the boss to proceed, but that's in the Story Mode.
This game also has Mission Mode (Pretty self explanatory, you complete mission to gain money and rewards), Survival Mode (Where you face several strong opponents, including shinobis from Konoha, like Kakashi, Sasuke, etc), and 2P Battle Mode (Again, pretty self explanatory)
This time around, you have more characters to choose from, including members from the Akatsuki, like Itachi and Kisame. All of the characters have the same controls, but different attacks. Kankuro and Gaara, are more defensive, while Naruto and Kakashi are more offensive. Depending on the mission, you can choose a character that's more fit for it!
You can also level up characters to give them more offensive and defensive stats. This helps a lot, especially in the last bit of the game.
And you can edit their Skill Plates to give them new abillities, like Naruto's Sexy Jutsu, and Kakashi's Sharigan!
Graphics
This game's graphics are nowhere compared to the first game. If you played Dragon Ball Z Budokai 3, you'll find many similarities, so in other words, the graphics are amazing!
Music
There are many songs from the first game, especially the battle themes, but the new ones are good. The intro theme is the best for me
Rating
If you like a Beat 'Em Up game, even if you're not a Naruto fan, you'll like this game (:
From Newbie to No Comment, I give this game an Excellent (:
Good controls, a nice story, and a good game in general
